From examination of your score of 40 in the 5-Year LLB entrance and your rank of 2519, along with SC, NCC and CAP reservations, you have a fairly good chance of grabbing a seat in Osmania University or one of its affiliated colleges. Osmania usually has decent reservation quota support, especially for SC candidates, with an additional quota of NCC and CAP may help you out further. Of course, the final allotment will ultimately depend on the cutoffs for the year and how many seats are available, so pay attention when the official counselling happens.

The last counselling date for BA LLB admission depends on the entrance exam and the state or university. For example, if you appeared for AP LAWCET, the counselling usually takes place in August or September. If it’s MH-CET Law or CLAT, counselling may happen earlier or later. The Post Graduate College of Law, Basheerbagh (Osmania University) does accept students into its 3 year LL.B. program for graduates. The fee structure is as follows: tuition  12,270 + special fee 3,730 = 16,000 for 1 year (approximately 48,000 for the entire 3 years).

If you're planning to do LLB through distance mode, it's important to know that the Bar Council of India does not recognize distance LLB for practicing law. This means you won’t be allowed to enroll as an advocate or appear in court if you complete the degree through correspondence.

Some universities do offer law-related distance programs, but they’re more suitable for academic interest or careers in legal support roles, not for courtroom practice. The fee for such courses usually falls between 50,000 to 80,000 per year, depending on the university.

As for 2025 admissions, most universities begin their application process between March and July, so you still have time.
