What degree is given for UG Program at IISERs? BS-MS degree of our major subject or general BS-MS degree (research) without specialisation? If our degree has our major subject mentioned then how it differs from normal BSc (subject) of local college?

Abhishek Roy 6th Jun, 2021

The degree given for Integrated Program at IISERs is the BS-MS Degree (Research) in respective Subject youve opted, during Counselling. IISERs after IITs and IISc Bangalore are some of the best Research and Academic Institutions in India having excellent infrastructure, faculty and strong curriculum specifically for Research.

Are there major differences between JEE Main only classes and JEE Main + Advanced classes apart from question solving? As per my knowledge advanced level questions are done in those classes. Are there any other differences?

Arshiya 5th Jun, 2021

No, not as such. The syllabuses are almost same as that of the 12th class, the chapters are mostly same. Just difficulty level changes a bit, so they'll definitely be taught in jee mains classes as well. But there are some topics that are unique in Jee advanced like nuclear chemistry and thermal physics. Maybe in the classes of mains these topics are taught beforehand to the students or maybe not, that depends on the institute.
