Both are decent colleges in private cateogry.
But VIT, Vellore is a bit better than MIT, Manipal.
- Comparing the NIRF Ranking VIT is ranked at 15th while MIT at 45th.
- Facilities provided by both the colleges are almost same and both have all the facilities required by students.
- Placement record of MIT is slightly better than VIT as MIT average placement is 7 lakh per annum while VIT average placement is 5.5 lakh per annum.
- Based on students reviews both has has good reviews.
- Another factor is fee MIT has much high fee while comparing to VIT. MIT fee is approx 17 lakh for 4 years while VIT fee is approx 8 lakh for 4 years.
So, both colleges are good but VIT is slightly better based on stats and review.

No, there is no holiday for the occassion of Onam in Manipal Institute of Technology.
But the students and staff come together and make all the necessary arrangements to celebrate the festival in the campus itself on the sunday of that week .
Its celebrated quite in a grand way by contributions of students and staff, one of the canteens is pre-booked for the fooding, functions are arranged etc. It is a proper celebration that takes place in the institute campus itself but there is
no official holiday for Onam.

i went to a fraud jee mafias coaching institute so called Fiitjee as you know and i ruined my 2 yrs gaining regrets now.all my friends got up into iits and nits and i landed up in Mit,manipal. will i be able to stand tall along with them if i decide to persue my mba in iim and work hard for cat
You can go for MBA..MBA is among best career options.
You can become manager.An alumni of good B-school as well as alumni of IIM earn handsome salary..You should focus on your CAT preparation as well as on profile building.
For profile building you can do some online courses, do some internships.
I am sure that you will never regret on your decesion if you will able to get in good college.

Yes, you have heard that right, the Manipal Institute of technology, Karnataka has started the facility of providing RECORDED lecture since last academic session. Though the rule for 75% attendance is strict and you have to attend classes yet you can avail lecture on some ground. As the pandemic is on go, the classes are been taken on Microsoft Team and the lectures get recorded itself. But in normal situations real classes are on focus then virtual.

No, this is not true. Manipal Institute of Technology has never taught their students through recorded video lectures. This year in covid 19 situations also the university is giving online classes to its students not recorded video lectures.
There is facility for you to avail some of the extra courses through Coursera online classes but the regular main subjects are not taught through recorded lectures. The professors take regular classes.
So, Manipal Institute of Technology doesn't teach through recorded video lectures.

Don't regret your past and focus on your future and try to learn new skills because at the end only your knowledge matters not college.its top to get campus placement form mit Bhopal but you can try job own the basis of your knowledge you gain.
There are many examples who are not from IITs or NITs who are doing well than IITians or Nitians.getting admission in these college not secure your future.here also you have to work hard.
You can do MBA for iim and start preparing for CAT exam.
The spirit you have right now keep it up it's works as fuel for your whole journey.

Btech in mechanical engineering is a good choice as you have asked to take Jmi or Mit , see Jmi fees is very less it is a very old University and it is not private It is a good choice in terms of placements and study , sports , labs. Mit fees is very high as compared to Jmi . Mit is also a good choice but your focus should be to crack higher studies exam , In my opinion you may take Jmi because of fees or it depends on your choice. Hope this will help you.

my rank is 29k in mit,manipal i saw that 2019 cutoff for EIE was34k and also seeing videos of mit people.one says that in 5 cnselling rounds there can occur a scenerio where a boy from AIR 32K can move to a 16k cutoff branch if choose preferences wisely .wht are the 5 wise choices for me(main camp.)

See you have not mentioned the name of your preferred branch, if you would have given it then I can suggest you in the preference wis 5 branches to be chosen for counselling. However on the basis of previous year cut-off you should choose enlisted below 5 branches :-
- Mechatronics
- Mechanical
- Automobile
- Aeronautical
- Electronic and Instrumentation
First two branches are quite hard to get on the basis of your rank mentioned by you in the question. Note that the above prediction is based on previous year's cut-off because cut-off for this year is not released yet and cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.
