Manipal University, Jaipur
Hello Vaishnavi,
Placements in Manipal University MBBS:
Kasturba Medical College (under Manipal University) is undoubtedly the best private medical college in the country among the colleges you have mentioned here.
Kasturba Medical College, Manipal was established in the year 1953. It was the first self-financing medical college in the private sector in India, established in a barren hillock which has turned itself to be a green environmental city, with all modern amenities conducive to student learning. Today, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, is a name synonymous with quality medical education which attracts people not only from India but also from other countries of the world....
Lab facilities are just extraordinary & state-of-the-art. The Health Sciences Library has everything you'll need. There are good facilities available for those interested in research and further studies. Since Manipal is popularly known as international university town of India.
Talking about the faculty here, KMC has great faculty and supporting staff who are very approachable and teach very well. The hospital gets patients from all over India & even from abroad, and there are plenty of learning opportunities for medical students, so there is good clinical exposure....

There are good facilities available for those interested in research and further studies. Since Manipal is popularly known as international university town of India. Global exposure is high and many students from KMC clear the USMLEs every year. The anti-ragging committee is very strict and there is a hotline number provided to students. So ragging is not a problem here at KMC...
Manipal University cut off:
There’s nothing such as cut offs because there are a lot of factors which cause them to increase/ decrease each year in Manipal.
They keep increasing the student intake for each branch and that can cause the cut offs to drop for the major branches.
If you want to join the main campus, you should score atleast a 100/200 to get any branch here. If you want something related to CS, you should study well and get around 130+ in the entrance exam.
Manipal entrance is not that hard though.
You have one mark for each question and no negative markings.
Physics: 50 questions.
Chemistry: 50 questions.
Mathematics: 70 questions.
English: 30 questions.
Everything is very basic and all you require is to be quick because the questions are in any order (i.e, your first question can be from physics followed by chemistry and so on.) and you have less time to solve 200 questions.
Also, you can give three attempts in total for MUOET and your best score will be considered for the ranking. So try and give one in the first two or three days of the dates given for your place. You will get a rough idea about the exam so you can give it a shot again.

Hello Pavan Vishnu sai,
I am telling about the review of Manipal University...
MANIPAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY:-
EDUCATION:-
This is the best college in terms of higher education.I am saying it as the best because here professors treat you as their own children and really want your progress. They will try to motivate you and at the same time they will give you the best, what they can. If you go to IIT’s, then you will notice that most of the professors don’t bother about your result. If you are doing good its ok and if you are not doing well then also its ok. But thats not the case here.
LIFESTYLE:-
The hostels in Manipal campus are common for students of Engineering and Architecture. Hostels are excellent with best of facilities.
-24x7 internet connection(Right now it is provided by ION but soon it is going to be given by JIO)
-24x7 hot water supply
-Water coolers on each floor
-Common rooms with T.V s(time permit to watch TV is till 11:30 pm and when any football or criket match is there then you can watch till 1 or 2 also. All depends on caretaker)
-Facility to play indoor games like Table Tennis, Carrom, Chess, etc
-Cleaning of room on alternate days.
-Immediate first aid in case of emergencies and ambulance (if required) will turn up within 5 mins of call.(24 X 7 Ambulance facility)
-Night Canteens which are open uptill 1 am
-Washing machine service (pay per use)(Only available in girls hostel)
-External laundry agencies come to the hostels daily (per use/membership) and return within 1–2 days
Hostel Life
This one completely depends on you.
You have an option of sitting in your room and quietly enjoying a TV show/Movie or going to your friends’ rooms and having a hell of a time.
Most of the hostelers are into gaming (CS/Dota/FIFA etc) so you wont have trouble finding a group to game with.
Birthdays are celebrated like crazy (BEWARE: If it’s your birthday don’t be seen by anyone :P)
You can go to anyone’s room you want without any restrictions and stay there throughout the night.
All night group study in a friend’s room is a common sight during exams.
Smoking/drinking is strictly prohibited inside the hostels. Some indulge and get away with it. But if caught, you will be severely penalized.
All-in-all hostel life in Manipal can be amazing depending on how much you make of it .
Hello Akshay,
Well, there is not particular qualifying cutoff in MET 2019, it just depends on your rank which decides which branch you can get.
This is the first time negative marking has been introduced, so cutoffs may vary a lot.
If you think that you had could've done better, I would suggest you to give another attempt of it.
Still, if you have any doubts regarding MIT, the admission process and other doubts related to student life..

Hello kartik Gupta,
Satisfactory from an average student’s perspective.
P.s: We are doing quite good compared to the new IITs.
MUJ is a young institution. It has made efforts in getting MNCs and reputed startups for placement. But the packages offered have been mediocre.
More than 60 Companies have visted MUJ since the last 5 years. Amazon, Appirio, SAP Lab, CSC, Asahi Glass, Kirloskar, Eagle Burgman, ST Microelectronics, Cruiseline shipping, JCB, Infineon, Temenos, Shree Cement, Everest Industries, Salucro, Xebia, Advanced Technology, Sasken Communication, Wipro Technologies etc are some of the renowned companies that have visited MUJ in the past.
Below is a list of all the companies which have been our RECRUITERS (INTERNSHIP & PLACEMENT) for the year 2015–2016.
The highest package offered so far had been 10.5 lpa by Amazon.
Three other candidates received package offers of 9.5 lpa from Amazon itself.
Another company (name forgotten but was ECE related) selected 3 candidates offering them a contract of working for them at 22 lakhs for 30 months.
Another notable offer was 8 lpa by SAP Lab
Wipro and TCS are companies who have a reputation of selecting candidates in bulk. Hence there are no outsanding offers unlike Amazon offered.
The avg package offered to the selected candidates was 4.5 to 5 lpa
#Mechanincal : Speaking of no of candidates placed, I can only tell you about my branch. Out of 54 candidates, 34 Final Year Mechanical students were placed before they left for their internships. The remaining 20 either opted not to appear for the placements so that they could peruse Higher Studies or they did not qualify. But that is not the end for those who did not end up getting an offer. During Internships if a candidate’s performance is good they are offered a job there itself. Those figures are still yet unknown.
Summing up, Its your academics and your personality that will fetch you the job and not the Institution. The reason for among those 20 candidates who didn’t qualify could probably be a CGPA lower than 6.0 or backlogs or poor interview sessions. So the placement totally depends upon the student and if you have it in you, you will surely have an offer.

Hi !
If your NEET rank is 3594 you can easily get a seat in government medical college. According to last year's cutoff , the cutoff marks were 558 with a closing rank of 6032 for Government Medical College , Manjeri. So , you have great chances of getting a medical college in State Merit in Kerala because your rank has very wide range.
For BDS , the cutoff was 481 with a closing NEET rank of 29456 for Government Dental College , Kozhikode.

Hello Siddhesh,
BTech in Mechatronics from Manipal University Jaipur is good! It is a new branch, so obviously it will take more time to make its mark. The Labs in the University are equipped with modern equipments. The Faculty is also well experienced.
Between Mechatronics and CSE, I cannot say which one is better. It purely depends on your interest. If you are totally into coding go for CSE and if you want to learn principles from different branches like Mechanical, Electronics, etc all in one branch go for Mechatronics.
All the best!
Hello aspirant!!
Once your response is recorded by them they will finalize it. As you said that you have cancelled the college name after the final date of Manipal University then there are nearly no chance of getting the name deleted. This depends upto the terms and conditions of the application so once check them and get conformed.
Good Luck.
