Hey,
Sorry to say but this can't bee predicted in advance. Whether to give grace marks to students or not is completely decided by the board authorities. If they find the paper difficult you may get grace marks.
But I will suggest you instead of wasting your time in thinking about the grace marks target for passing marks. Then you won't have to be stressed about this. Work hard and try to score good.
Always remember you have the potential inside you and you can do whatever you want to if you give your 100% for it.
All the very best.
Thank you.
Assuming you are a General/OBC Category Aspirant, you should target securing atleast 75-100/300 in JEE Main in March and target on consolidating the score in May and April Attempts to atleast 130/300 to secure a Good NIT/GFTI/IIIT. JEE Main is more of a strategy than hardwork. Capitalise on your strengths and be cautious of your weaknesses. If I was in your place, to secure a Total of 90, I would follow the following strategy. Chemistry (40-50) + Physics (20-25)+ Maths (20-25) or maybe Chemistry + Maths (70)+ Physics (20). This is because, Physics was my weakest subject and Chemistry strongest, hence you should have a personal test taking strategy followed by strategic selection of Study Material. Since you do not have much time in hand, I would suggest you few very crucial material, which may help you for the March/April Attempt.
1. Allen Mathematics Handbook (PDF Available)
2. Physics in 40 Days Crash Course Arihant
3. Physics and Chemistry Arihant Handbook
4. Resonance Rank Booster JEE Main ( Target Completing by April Attempt 2 Months)
5. Previous Years Arihant JEE Main

Hi,
As you must be aware, your best percentile is considered for the final rank. On the basis of your percentiles for February and March session, you have a better percentile for February session that is 89.89 according to this your expected common rank list rank will be around 103425 - 116265 . Now, at this point of time it is quite difficult to determine your category rank as it depends on the number of candidates that scored more than you in the same category.
You can refer to the official JoSAA counselling link from closing and opening ranks for all NITs, IIITs and GFTIs, here is the link for same: https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
You can also refer to the rank predictor too: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
Also, here is a college predictor link where you can get a personalized report for the colleges you can get in: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor
I hope this helped you.
Dear Aspirant,
the possibilities for you to be able to secure a seat at SVNIT Surat is less, as per the cutoff criteria, but do not get discouraged by this as there are still two more sessions of JEE Mains remaining and you can give your best in those examinations. However there are other colleges where you are eligible for the branches of Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering,
Civil Engineering :-
Mechanical Engineering :-

Hello Aditya
I hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that at your percentile your estimated will be around 141000 . At this rank it would be very difficult to get admission in DTU ,NSIT or even at mam with general category. In order to get admission in these reputed colleges your all india rank should be below 20000 . My personal advise is to prepare for next attempt by making a proper roadmap because i think you will need to study atleast 10 hours with pure dedication.
you can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India :-
