can I correct centre/ citi option while March ,JEE mains 2021 correction windows open ??

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 13th Feb, 2021

Hi

Yes, you can edit or correct the choice of city for the examination centre.

You can check the same on your own, the point number 17  of page number 3 of jee main 2021 FAQ released by nta mentions that choice of city can be changed using correction window, the direct link to download the FAQ is provided below

https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/webinfo2021/File/GetFile?FileId=5&LangId=P

Besides, choice of city for examination centre you can edit/correct following details as well in your jee JEE main application form.

  • Your personal details :- You can correct your personal details like  spelling mistakes in your name, your date of birth etc

  • your academic details

  • You can even edit or change the choice of your paper:- For Instance, if you have chosen paper 1, you can edit it and choose paper 2 instead of 1 or vice-versa . You can also select both paper 1 and paper 2 but you will have to pay the application fee for the same.

  • Number of sessions you want to appear in, you can edit the sessions you want to appear in and you can add more session by paying the application fee for each new added session

  • language of the jee main question paper :- you can change the medium or language of the examination from the list of available options of language i. e English,Hindi ,Gujarati , Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu

  • your state of eligibility

  • you can also change the uploaded images

  • your category

But yes , while using the correction window you should make sure that all your details are correct because once you use the correction window , you won't get another chance to use the correction window again as it is a single time facility. So, do check all the details twice.

Now that,

limited time is left for jee mains 2021 , so you should be focusing on your preparation, go through chapters first , major focus should be on grasping concepts , practising questions and then revising them, go through previous year question , and mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination.

For detailed information you can visit our page the link for the same is provided below

I got 176 marks in jee mains 18th March 1st shift paper, what would be my percentile and rank. can I get cse in any nit or iiit, in general category

Arnav Agarwal 25th Mar, 2021

This shift was extremely simple. Cutoffs could be as high as 150.So a score of 176 would only mean a percentile of 93-94.Its unlikely you would get cse in any top nit.

MY SON GOT 191 MARKS IN MARCH JEE MAIN. CAN HE GET ADMISSSION IN NIT WARANGAL IN CSE BRANCH UNDER OBC NCL

Anurag Khanna 24th Mar, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2020 then according to the marks mentioned by you in the question your son's CRL rank is expected to be in the range of 2664 - 2004, you can check out marks Vs ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile

Or

You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2020 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows that the closing OBC rank for NIT Warangal was 594 for CSE branch in NIT Warangal under other state quota for OBC NCL category. And his OBC rank is expected to be around 500-800 so he has decent chances to get NIT Trichy with CSE branch.

You can check out the latest cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
