got 91.64 percentile in March naina did I get ADMISSIONS any IIIT college

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 25th Mar, 2021

Sunita, As per the marks vs rank analysis you have scored around 71-80 marks in Jee mains 2021 (March) and your rank would be somewhere between 82249 - 63079 , considering you as a general category candidate. And with this rank, you have very low chances to secure a seat in any of the IIITs (as per the previous years records). You can get admission in PEC Chandigarh, GNDU,ICFAI university, LPU, some NIts such as Mizoram, Meghalaya, etc. You can check out the cutoffs of IIITs here:

And you can use the college predictor link given below:

i got 54.75 percentile in march session of jee mains 2021 and I belong to the sc category. Is there any chance I could get into a government college in Kolkata?

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 25th Mar, 2021

hi,

see in west bengal the seat intake in engineering colleges like private or government colleges is mostly based on wbjee score. around 5% seats reserve for jee main score holders. so at this rank you have no chances for government engineering colleges or tier 1 private colleges. now that you are interested to admission in colleges of west bengal only you should seriously prepare for wbjee. or again appear in jee main exam and seriously study and bring score more than 90 percentile.

Sir,I am obc ncl student.I got 88.76 percentile in March attempt. Can I get VNIT college nagpur?

Arihant Surana 25th Mar, 2021

Hello,

Sorry to say this but there is very less chance that you can get VNIT Nagpur, as the cutoff rank is around 9500 and your rank might be around 14000. So it is really hard that you can get that college. But there are many more colleges which you can apply at that rank or marks.

you can also use college predictor tool for know about which college you can get, just follow the link.

I got 95.6 percentile in 18 march shift 2 jeemain exam. Icome under gen -ews. Will I get Iit Delhi

Abhishek Roy 25th Mar, 2021

You will not be able to secure IIT Delhi through JEE Main Rank/Percentile. You need to crack JEE Advanced for that. For more information regarding IIT Delhi Cutoff do follow the link below

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-advanced-cutoff-for-iit-delhi

As far as your JEE Main Percentile is concerned, being from EWS Category, you do have choices between NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. However, I would advise you to work hard over the next few attempts and target anywhere near 97-98 Percentile for better Counselling Prospects.

I got 86.86 percentile in March jee 2021,I am a SC female student whether I will get NIT TRICHY.

Abir Gayen 25th Mar, 2021

Hi Aspirant,

There is a chance for other NITs but the cutoff marks for NIT Trichy remains quite high and chances are low.According to your percentile you can expect a rank of about 1.5 lakhs to 2 lakhs.however the cutoff percentile is much less as compared to SC it is about 13k to20k in CS and 25k+ in other branches. So chances are lessHowever you can check the colleges you can get based on your percentile through the link I am giving below:

my JEE main March 2021 session percentile is 86.9684 . May I get CS or IT in any good government college. I am a female candidate of West bengal

Anurag Khanna 25th Mar, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Since you have not mentioned your category so considering it as general.

According to the mentioned percentile your rank is expected to be in the range of 133313 - 149863 , you can check out marks Vs ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile

Or

You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

So on such rank and category you have no chance to get CSE/IT in any of the NITs/IIITs/CFTIs, so I would recommend you to either go for state counselling for state GFTIs like Lalyani Govt. Engineering college, Ghani Khan Choudhury Institute of Engineering And Technology, Malda and some others or for private colleges or you can prepare for further attempts of JEE-Main and to help you in your preparation we have some resources which you can access from the link given below :-

https://learn.careers360.com/jee-main-coaching/?utm_source=%20QnA

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the official website of JOSAA as given below :-

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

You can also check out the JEE-Main 2021 qualifying cut-off (expected) for JEE-Advance 2021 from the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.
