Dear aspirant,
As you have mentioned that you want to know about the comparison between March 18th 2021 1st slot and July 25th 2021so let me tell you that this is a very relative question because something which is easy for me may not be easy for others and vice versa.
So, as per my view JEE mains 18th March paper was on a easier side because the questions from chemistry section were easy and physics was the toughest among all.
Dear Student,
50 percentile is not a big deal to score in jee main, anyone who tick just random answers can achieve the percentile of 60, according to your previous one you have improved but this score is also not enough to take admission in any of the college, better you try one more attempt of August one and try to score more than 90 percentile so you may get some option to take admission in some private colleges with some fee concession.
You can also take direct admission in any institute of your region if you don't want to give the another attempt, you can give the exam of scholarship for that particular college (only few are available) to get some concession in fee amount.
Best of Luck!!!
With all these past years of JEE Mains it has been observed that cutoff percentile to qualify for JEE Advanced remains almost the same. For general category the cutoff is nearly 90 every year , so with this percentile you won't be able to qualify for JEE Advanced 2021. Try to score better in your next attempt of 4th session of JEE Mains 2021.

hi,
see as per careers360 jee main college predictor tools, your estimated overall probable rank would be 480810 - 540500 , now it is difficult to predict the category rank just based on percentile. since it depends on factors like number of applicant, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category , domicile etc.
last years to appear in jee advance cutoff percentile of jee main was as follows:
Common Rank List (CRL) 90.3765335
(EWS) 70.2435518
Other Backward Class (OBC-NCL) 72.8887969
Scheduled Caste (SC) 50.1760245
Scheduled Tribe (ST) 39.0696101
People with Disability (PwD) 0.0618524
so based on previous years data you have chances to appear in jee advance, but it may change from time to time. so follows the official sites for latest updates.
To know about complete list of probable college name, based on your score, category please use Careers360 college predictor tool,
Hi there,
Although you belong to st category and with your percentile you may get a chance to appear in the advance examinations but your rank wouldn't be sufficient to confirme a seat at your proffered college. You might get a seat but it's not sure.
There are other colleges where you can get a seat you can use our college predictor tool to find out those colleges.
Hello Aspirant,
See if you have made correction in your application then why it would not be accepted. It would be accepted definitely. See if you have corrected your application form of JEE-Main 2021 during the correction window of March attempt then also it would be accepted and your category will be changed throughout JEE-Main 2021 so don't worry for it.
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
See don't lose hope, this is the very first thing which you should remember and your JEE-Main percentile is quite good because it can take you to good NITs with decent branches so I would recommend you to appear for JEE-Advance attempt and if this is your first attempt of JEE-Advance then you will have your second attempt of JEE-Advance so if due to any reason you cannot clear this attempt then you can definitely try for second attempt and even if this is your last attempt then also you should appear for it. Suppose you don't get any IIT due to any reason then also you have security of good NITs because on such percentile you can easily get good NITs and also NITs are not bad in fact NITs are also considered as premier engineering institutions.
So don't under estimate yourself and even if you don't appear for JEE-Advance this year and if this is your last attempt then you won't get another attempt so it is recommended that you should appear in JEE-Advance 2021.
