Hey,

You cannot appear for NEET 2021 but can appear for NEET 2022. This is because for NEET 2021, you need to be of 17 years of age as on December 31, 2021. You as per this date, you will not be of 17 years. So, you cannot appear for NEET 2021. However, you are certainly eligible for NEET 2022 and can appear for it. Along with it, it is essential to have 50% aggregate marks in PCB, 45% in case of PWD and 40% for PBC/SC/ST.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 16th Jul, 2021

Hi

With 96.2068448 percentile

Your sc rank will be around  1200.

With your rank you have very chances in NITs .

For example,

In 6th round of josaa counselling 2020,  1511 sc  rank for sc category for gender neutral   got a seat in computer science Engineering (4 Years, Bachelor of Technology) in NIT Bhopal

You can check the same at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

This has been predicted on the basis of past year data but  closing rank changes every year due to factors like number of students that appeared in the jee main, difficulty level of the paper for different shifts of jEE main etc so

Sir, Jee main AIR rank and Category rank are different? what is my rank? I got 96.2068448 pr in JEE main March session 2021.

Anurag Khanna 16th Jul, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Yes AIR and category rank are two different ranks, Suppose 100000 candidates appeared in JEE-Main 2021 and your AIR comes out to be 500 then it means that you are on 500th position out of those 100000 candidates but if we go towards category rank then suppose you belongs to OBC category and total 50000 OBC candidates appeared in JEE-Main and your OBC rank comes out to be 500 so it means that you are on 500th position out of those 50000 OBC candidates.

Now if we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2020 then according to the percentile mentioned by you in the question your percentile is expected to be in the range of 38804 - 43621 , you can check out marks Vs ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile

Or

You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-

Note that the rank which is predicted is only the expected rank on the basis of previous year's data so your actual rank might vary depending upon current factors. To give you an idea of your approximate rank we have provided the expected range of rank .

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

I was born on 2008 augest 29 that means my age will come 17 years before 2024 December 31sth but before exam on March will be exams conducted so I will get 16 years before exam that means I was 16 running in 2024 my doubt is can I eligible for neet 2024 please answer me

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 16th Jul, 2021

Hi

First of all how are you counting your age? You won't be 17 years old before 31st December 2024

If you are born on 29th August 2008 then you will be 17 years old on 29th August 2025.

Your age at the time of neet examination doesn't matter, one needs to be at least 17 years old as on 31st December of  the year of appearing for Neet examination.

Thus,
For neet 2024,you need to be at least 17 years  old as on 31st December 2024 but you fail to fulfill this criteria as you will be 17 years old on 29th August 2025 i. e after 31st December 2024  and thus not eligible for Neet 2024.

You will be eligible in 2025 i. e for neet 2025.

Also,
For being eligible for neey one must be either appearing for 12th board examination or you should have passed it with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got at least
---) 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology /biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category ,
---) or   at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to  Obc/ Sc /st category.

For detailed information about neet examination go through our page for which link is provided below; -

Akanksha 15th Jul, 2021
Hello Aspirant

The candidates who have already completed their HSS examination or class 12 will have their NEET code as 02. Since you have already completed your class 12th in the year 2019 and this is your 3rd attempt, the NEET code for you will be 02. So don't worry whatever is filled in your form is correct.

Prepare well for your exam.
All the best!!
