RAJDEEP 23rd Jun, 2021

Hello, since the job post has asked you to produce ews certificate for financial year 2018-2019 it won't be a problem if you have made the certificate on 30 march. The validity of ews certificate varies from state to state but in most cases it is for one financial year from the date the certificate was issued. So, you can submit the ews certificate for the government job post.

I got 45 percentile in March session 2021 , am I qualified for advanced??

Anurag Khanna 19th Jun, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

See right now it is quite difficult to predict whether you will be qualified for JEE-Advance 2021 or not because the cut-offs are not yet released for JEE-Main 2021 but on the basis of previous year's qualifying cut-offs we have made the table of expected cut-offs for this year which is shown below :-

  • Common Rank List (CRL) - 90- 95 Percentile
  • GEN-EWS - 70- 75 Percentile
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 70- 75 Percentile
  • Scheduled Caste (SC) - 50- 55 Percentile
  • Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 40- 45 Percentile
  • PwD - 1-2 Percentile

Now according to the above table if you belongs to General or OBC category then you have almost no chance to get qualified for JEE-Advance 2021 but yes if you belongs to ST/SC category then you have some chances but good chances for ST category, so it totally depends upon your category.

Note that in above table it is not the actual cut-off for JEE-Main 2021 but expected on the basis of previous year's analysis. You can check out previous year's cut-off trends from the link given below :-

how to get IIT BOMBAY easily for CSE branch sc category what should we do to crack JEE advanced? and what will be my rank in jee mains march attempt i got 53.19 percentile?

Tanmay V 28th Jul, 2021

Dear Aspirant,

See IIT BOMBAY is one the Best IITs. There is no "easy" of getting in there with CSE Branch .JEE Advanced being a national level highly competitive exam  , it would take much efforts irrespective of category.

As per the official JOSAA website  the closing rank for IIT BOMBAY CSE last year(2020) for Female Sc quota was 107.

You can check previous year cutoffs here for IIT BOMBAY-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-advanced-cutoff-for-iit-bombay

Or you can also Check at official JOSAA website:

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

See as the exam pattern  for JEE Advanced changes every year its quite difficult to predict exactly how many marks are required for specific institute.

It has been observed that for General students who score 40-50% of total marks of JEE Advanced paper 1 & paper 2  have decent chances of getting into IITs,

Now for SC Category & Female quota nearly 50-60% of total marks might help  to get IIT BOMBAY CSE Branch.

(This may or may not be accurate due to changing pattern and trends every year.)

Now one needs not just understand  all the concepts of JEE syllabus very well but one also needs to develop a high exam temperament attitude, because the pattern of exam is declared when get to see the question paper on the day of exam itself.

Identify your strength  and weaknesses, improve your weak areas , rectify your mistakes from mock tests.Do as many mock tests as you can.

For 53.19 percentile CRL Rank would be  in this range : 478866 - 53831

i appeared in class 12th exam in 2020 but failed and again in 2021 passed and my jee main score in march 2021 is 94 percentile and i am seeing to improve it can i get any nit if i score good in jee main i am worried because i failed a year in 2020 tell me plzz?

anirudha vats 18th Jun, 2021

Hey,

To be very honest now there is not such compulsion about your class 12th marks. If you have passed your Class 12th then you are eligible to sit for the JEE exam.

Colleges don't consider class 12th marks in their evaluation process for selecting a candidate. You will be given admission solely on the basis of marks or percentile you score in your exam.

All the very best.

Hope that helps.

Thank you

i got 70 percentile in jee march attempt should i take vitee Or not and i am an obc candidate

anirudha vats 18th Jun, 2021

Hey,

70 percentile is quite low score to target good institutions. So if you are willing to take admission in a good college then I think you should give a reattempt as because if your category if you will work hard a little more then you will shine in the paper.

Although if you doesn't feel like giving a reattempt then VITEE us also a good private college to pursue your engineering degree. The placement is average.

See where you stand in your preparation and whether you can invest more time in this and then decide accordingly.

Hope that helps.

All the best.

Thank you.

Hey maam.. Im doing b com last year..it will be completed march 2022 so what is the right time to be registered myself for direct entry and after registration what will i do and after how many month will i appear for exam

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 27th Jun, 2021
Hello,

I am assuming you are asking about pursuing CA.
After B.Com, you can directly enroll and pursue CA-Inter, without doing CA-CPT through direct entry scheme. For direct entry, you must complete your B.com to register under Direct entry scheme and complete 9 months of articleship training to appear for the exam as per ICAI and you can register for IPCC in your final year of B.Com.

I hope this helps.

I got 87.7 percentile in March jee mains 2021,I need to know whats my rank and which college i get in, and i have EWS category.

Abhishek Roy 12th Jun, 2021

With 87.7 Percentile in JEE Main 2021, your CRL will be anywhere around 135-136k, with a EWS Rank between 38-40k. At this Rank, you'll have negligible chances in securing a seat at some of the NITs, IIITs or GFTIs. However, you may appear for you respective State Engineering College Counselling, and you may have fair chances of securing a seat in some of the Good State Engineering Colleges as well as many Private Universities and Colleges accepting JEE Main Score.

Is it ok if we not give the remaining two sessions of JEE this year? I have attempted two sessions of Feb and March of this year. So will it be ok if I dont give remaining two sessions? Will I get results based on the best of the two sessions that I gave??

REVILLA SAI VAMSHI 11th Jun, 2021
Dear Aspirant,

The best scores among all the sessions you appeared will be considered for ranking .if you miss or fail to attempt any of the session you applied there is nothing to worry since that doesn't effect your final scores perhaps you will be ranked on considering the session which has highest score in your attempts.

But it's highly recommend to attempt every session if you have a hope of scoring more than your current attempt.

All the best
