Atif Ali 6th May, 2021

Hello,

You will have decide that what course you're willing to pursue. As you have tagged M.Arch (Master's of Architecture) then let me tell you that you're not eligible to pursue this course, as it is mandatory for a candidate to have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from a recognised University of India.

But there are still many courses like M.A (Master of Arts), MBA (Master's of Business Administration) or you can pursue M.Com. I would recommend you to pursue MBA, Carrer options are great after completing MBA. NOW, to pursue MBA, you will have to appear for some National level entrance exams like CAT, MAT, or CMAT or you can appear for some State or Institute level entrance exams like XAT, TANCET, MHCET etc. You can sit for 2 more exams in a year. After that your Admission will be done through merit list released by Participating Institutes.

To know more about CAT 2021, please go through this link

https://www.google.com/amp/s/bschool.careers360.com/articles/cat/amp

I am listing some M.Com entrtrace exams as well, have a look-

1. DU M.com

2. Allahabad University PGAT

3. OUCET Entrance Exam

4. Kurukshetra University M.com exam

5. PESSAT Exam 2021

You can still apply for aforementioned exams

Good Luck.

Will Nirma university,Lnmiit take admissions on the upcoming attempts of jee mains or feb and march which has happened? So that I can fill application form accordingly

RAJDEEP 14th Jun, 2021

Hello aspirant, Nirma University has started online application for B. Tech courses from 15 April and the last date to fill form has been extended till 30 June. LNMIIT Jaipur has also started online application for admission on JEE mains basis from 5 may and the last date to apply is 30 June.

Currently you have to fill JEE mains percentile in Feb, and march attempt for both universities and a merit list will be prepared on that basis and accordingly admissions will be done. So currently they have not provided any confirmed information about the other JEE attempts which have not happened so there is a probability that for now the merit list will be made only on basis of Feb and march attempts. Further they may ask for other two percentile once the exams have been held but now there is no clarification on that matter. In case of identical percentile, the tie-breaker criteria used will be

  • Mathematics NTA Score (Percentile) in JEE (Main) 2021

  • Physics NTA Score (Percentile) in JEE (Main) 2021

  • Chemistry NTA Score (Percentile) in JEE (Main) 2021

  • Total Percentage of marks in Class 10th examination

BEST OF LUCK!!

I filled JEE Main application form for Feb, March and April at once as Gen. Then I gave two attempts of JEE Main. Can I apply for the Gen-EWS now? If yes, and my Feb percentile is best of all, will the officials consider the EWS during admissions?

Anurag Khanna 4th May, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Unfortunately not. See if you have applied for February, March and April attempt of JEE-Main 2021 with General category then you will be considered as General candidate for these attempts and if you got your best result in any of the above mentioned attempts then your category will be considered as General even if you make correction for May attempt. Only for May attempt you will be considered as EWS candidate and you will be allotted EWS ranking and if it will be the best attempt than only you will be given EWS ranking and final result will be made on the basis of that score.

I am from obcncl category I got 83 percentile in jee main march 2021, can I get a seat in nit or can I allowed to give advance

aditya 3rd May, 2021

Hello Ranjith Yadav

I hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that at your percentile you estimated rank would be around 173910 - 195500 . At this rank you hold very low chances of getting admission in NIT  . I would like to suggest you to start preparing for next attempt and try to score rank below 10000 to get admission into NITS or if you dont want to waste one year, then go  for state university entrances

born at March 1996. Ive passed my 10th in 2011 and my 12th in 2020. so am i eligible for admission into Top IITs ? my "age" OR "the huge gap btwn my passing years" will be any problem? been prepping for mains & adv and will be attending remaining two sessions. So just making sure beforehand.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 3rd May, 2021

Hi

Which category do you belong to?

The gap years between your 10th and 12th won't be a problem but your age matters.

This is because,

Admission in IITs is through JEE advanced and there is upper age limit to be eligible for jee advanced examination as per which to be eligible for jee advanced 2021,you should be born on or after 1st October 1996. There is 5 years of age relaxation for SC, ST and PwD so candidates of SC/ST /PWD needs to be  born on or after October 1, 1991.

Now,

You have born in march 1996 i. e before 1st October 1996 , so you are not eligible for JEE advanced examination and thus cannot get admission in IITs if you belong to general  /OBC / EWS category but if you belong to to SC/ ST or PWD category then you are eligible and thus after qualifying jee advanced you can get admission in IITs as there is 5 years of age relaxation for SC/ ST / PWD

For your reference

jee advanced eligibility criteria is given below :-

-) you need to pass your class 12th with at least 75% marks in aggregate in class 12 if belong to general or obc category or at least 65% marks if belongs to SC/ST or must be in the top 20 percentile in class 12 examination. For this year i. e 2021 this percentage requirement in class 12th has been lifted off.

-) You can give JEE advanced examination for the maximum of consecutive 2 years starting from the year of appearing for your 12th examination i. e to be eligible for JEE advanced 2021 your 12th board examination appearing year should be either 2021 or 2020 .

-) There is upper age limit, according to which to be eligible for jee advanced 2021,you should be born on or after 1st October 1996. There is 5 years of age relaxation for SC, ST and PwD so candidates of SC/ST /PWD needs to be  born on or after October 1, 1991.

-) you must qualify JEE mains to be eligible for jee advanced

On the analysing previous year cutoff of JEE Mains, JEE mains 2021 expected qualifying  CUT OFF percentile is given below for different categories to be eligible for jee advanced:

.                  .  JEE      MAIN CUT   OFF    PERCENTILE

Category jeemain2020 jeemain2021 expected off

General :-     90.3765335                 90-95

GEN-EWS :-  70.2435518                  70 -75

OBC-NCL :-  72.8887969                   70 -75

SC     :-           50.1760245                  50 -55

ST :-                39.0696101                  40 - 45

I filled JEE Main application form this year for Feb, March, April at once as Gen. In this status I have given two attempts of JEE Main. Can I apply for the Gen-EWS quota now? If yes and my first attempt is counted as the best, then will the officials consider my EWS during admissions?

Virat Srivastava 10th Jun, 2021

Dear candidate, sorry to say but you can't get CSE with this score, you can try for JIIT Noida, Sector 128 in ECE branch. In last round, they open admission for all in ECE 128 branch. You can also try for JUIT, Waknaghat if you want to get CSE through 10+2 marks.

i got 95.42 percentile in jee main march 2021 and 5 lakh 60 thousand candidates appeared for the test so my rank is near about 25k so my rank will change till last attempt or not??????

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 30th Apr, 2021

hi,

see cutoff score changes every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category and so on. however the final rank would be published once all the sessions of the exam would complete. however it is difficult to predict the examct score, but yes there is chances that your rank may change depends on your performance compare to other candidates.
