I HV secured 94.4938158 percentile in JEE mains2021 march session. Can I get admission in directly with out AIEEE

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 12th Apr, 2021

Hi

First of all there is no AIEEE examination ,it used to be earlier but long back it got replaced by jee main in 2013.

I am guessing that you belong to general category

With 94.4938158 percentile

With above rank, you have  chances in lower NITs like NIT Sikkim, NIT meghalaya etc if you have a state quota in them . Otherwise you have  good chances for following Government Engineering College listed below

*Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur:- https://dqxeclau.top/university/guru-ghasidas-vishwavidyalaya-bilaspur/cut-off

*Shivaji University, Kolhapur :- https://dqxeclau.top/university/shivaji-university-kolhapur/cut-off

*RCC Institute of Information Technology, Beliaghata :- https://dqxeclau.top/colleges/rcc-institute-of-information-technology-beliaghata/cut-off

Above prediction of colleges is on the basis of past year data but  cut off/closing rank for colleges keeps changing every year depending upon many factors like number of students that appeared in the examination, difficulty level of the JEE main question paper for different shifts etc so

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below

I failed to see the email from NBE regarding correction of photo during extended correction window ie.on 5 april . As there was no problems or error during the original correction window that was from 19 to 21st march that I checked 2-3 times. Will i receive my admit card or my form is rejected?

anirudha vats 12th Apr, 2021

Hey,

This is something serious and can't tell you about the consequences. This will be clear once they release the admit card of other students. I don't think they should block the release of your admit card just because of this.

For safe side I will tell you to contact them vai email or numbers provided by them in their contact us section. You should tell them about your problem regarding this issue.

Me it convincing to them. They will surely help you with the solution regarding your problem.

I got 92.1 percentile in jee mains march 2021, i am lagging behind to solve matgematics questions of jee mains, i am thinking of studying biology from nios board and appearing for neet in 2022, plz tell should i do this or take a drop for jee mains

Apala Yadav 11th Apr, 2021

Sumit I am a dropper. I have dropped for jee mains. I never suggest you to go with neet you will kinda sailing in two boat. your percentile is good just need to improve a little. According to my experience I'll suggest you not to take a drop. Just focus on the April attempt.

will there be an increase in marks vs percentile trend of jee mains in april attempt than march attemp? and please do not say that it depends upon difficulty of question paper... thanks

suchayitaanusaha 10th Apr, 2021

Hello,

Actually anything can happen dear. Because any examination cutoff or percentile depends upon some things. Like how's the questions, how many students can give this examination, how they are doing in the examination, the highest marks of the examination.. So if no changes are occure in April examination than March then no changes will occur in rank and percentile also. If any changes are occure then the rank and and percentile also change.

All the best.

I have 40 percentile in my jee mains March session which college will I get in jammu and kashmir and my points are 127

chandni deb 10th Apr, 2021

Dear Student,

as you have not specified your respective category, assuming you belong to general category, the chances for you to be able to get a seat in a college at Jammu and Kashmir is less. However based on the cutoff for the previous years, given below are some of the colleges you are eligible to secure a seat,

  • Shivpuri Institute of Technology, Madhya Pradesh
  • Sinhgad College of Engineering, Pune
  • DAV University, Jalandar
  • Vikrant Group of Institutions, Indore
  • Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research, Indore
  • Rewa Institute of Technology, Madhya Pradesh

I am obc, female candidate and got 91 percentile in march jee 2021 .....will I get any nits ? my home state is Andhra pradesh. any branch

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 10th Apr, 2021

hi,

see cutoff score changes in every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, students category, choice of stream and so on. however every nits has 50% seats reserve for domicile candidates students and remaining seats fills by all india ranking. however at this score it would be difficult to secure any branches, last year cutoff for biotechnology obc female was 16562 , Metallurgical and Materials Engineering female obc- 16556.  so it seems tough chances at this score, however try to secure 95+ percentile next session exam, the more high your score, your choices will be broader.

I scored 97.11 percentile(general category) in jee mains March, how I increase it to 99+ in April/may.what I can get from 97 percentile

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 10th Apr, 2021

Hi

97.11 percentile is decent, and with this score it seems that your basic concepts are clear ,to get 99+ percentile, you need to work on your speed, and work on your weak topics so what you need to do is solve as many sample papers and mock test papers as you can and after solving them analyse your weak areas and then go through them and then again give the test and repeat this process again and again .

With 97.11 percentile

With above rank, you have  chances in NITs etc . For example,  you have chances in

  • NIT Meghalaya :- mechanical engineering

  • NIT Manipur :-Electronics and Communication Engineering

  • NIT Patna :- civil engineering

  • NIT Mizoram :- electronics and communication

And a few more

According to the result of the examination of the JEE Main Examination (February and March),How many marks should be scored in OBC category to get more than 99 percentile in JEE Main (April)?

Sharon Rose Student Expert 9th Apr, 2021

Hello,

It is quite difficult to predict the exact score even if take JEE Main February session and March session marks vs percentile trend as reference because the the marks vs percentile depends on the top score scored by a candidate in a session, total number of candidates appeared, tie breakers etc. You need to score minimum 205-210 marks or above to score 99 percentile or above in JEE Main.

If you are preparing for JEE Main upcoming session make use of our JEE Main knockout package to get help with your preparation

I got 89 percentile in feb attempt of jee 2021 and didnt give march attempt due to hand fracture, further too I cant write the April and may attempts due to heavy hand fracture, so can i get any nit any seat??? I am OBC NCL candidate and from Andhra pradesh. Or what to do now in this situation?

aditya 9th Apr, 2021

hello chintamadhu007

I hope you are doing good. I would like to know you that at your percentile your estimated would be around 112530 - 126500 . At this it would be very difficult to get admission in NIT . I can totally understand your situation, somethings things are just in not in our favour .  I would suggest you to start prepare for the entrances conducted by state universities Like GGSIPU, MDU , UOH  . If you are from delhi then go for ggsipu , because in ggsipu jee main score is considered , at your rank your chances are goood to admission in top colleges of ggsipu . You can go entrances conducted by deemed universities . Just dont feel demotivated because TIER -1 COLLEGE is not only way to grab big placements. if you have then you will get placed in good companies from tier-3 college too

you can use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict your chances of admission in different engineering colleges of India :-
