I got 84.5 percentile in jee March 18th first shift...what will be my predicted score?

Koustav Dey 30th Mar, 2021

Hello,

With this percentile your total marks will be around 50-55 . Also, based on your percentile your overall rank in JEE Main will be around 158565 - 178250

if you are general category candidate then with this rank you don't have chance to get seat in government engineering colleges. But, you have chance to get seat in private engineering colleges through the counselling procedure.

Sir I got 99.59 percentile in jee main march attempt with OBC NCL. Can I get Cs in Suratkal,

Anurag Khanna 30th Mar, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2020 then according to the percentile mentioned by you in the question your CRL rank is expected to be in the range of 4194 - 4715 , you can check out marks Vs ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile

Or

You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

As we go through the latest cut-offs of JEE-Main 2020 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows that :-

Closing OBC rank for NIT Surathakal was :-

CS Engineering branch - 1734 (Home state quota)

CS Engineering branch - 448 (Other state quota)

And your OBC rank is expected to be around 800-1000.

So you have quite good chances to get CSE in NIT Surathakal only if you have Home state quota otherwise not.

But yes if you improve your percentile in any further session of JEE-Main like around 99.7-99.8 then you might have a shot at CSE in NIT Surathakal under Other state quota even.

You can check out the latest cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

I got 77 percentile in jee mains(march) sc category in which nit I will get a seat

chandni deb 30th Mar, 2021

Dear Student,

as you are well aware that cutoff for every year differs depending upon various reasons such as availability of seats, number of participants attempting the paper etc, hence to provide you with the exact possibilities of your admission process is hard. However based on the previous years cutoff, the chances for you to secure a seat in NITs is less, but do not be discouraged as there are still two more sessions of JEE Mains left and you can try your best again.

Some of the colleges suitable for you based on secured percentile are provided in the list below,

  • IIIT Delhi
  • Delhi Technological University, Delhi
  • Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Aurangabad
  • KIT College of Engineering, Kolhapur
  • Mizoram University, Aizwal
  • Pillai College of Engineering, Mumbai

If you would like to view the complete list of colleges you are eligible to, you can take help of the college predictor tool provided in the link given below.

sir i paid fees for jee main feb and march attempt...i appeared in march but not in feb...but now if i log into my application no. it shows that the fees are paid and there is no option to pay fee for april attempt...what should i do

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 30th Mar, 2021

Hi Mohit,

As per the new guidelines for JEE MAINS 2021, candidates can adjust their fee for application fee to next attempt of session, if they were unable to appear in previosu session. Means, if you have paid the fee for February session but were not able to appear for same, then your fee will be adjusted for next attempt (March session).

As you mentioned, you did not appear for FEB session, but paid the fee for March session, so possibly your FEB session fee is getting adjusted for April session. Correction window is open till 4th April 2021, if you want to make any edits. For more information, visit here:

I Have Secured 63.63% (191/300) In JEE Mains 18th March 2021 , 1st Shift,. Can I Get Admission To IISc For BSc In Physics

ayanmukherjee045 9th May, 2021

Dear aspirant,

I am not very clear with your marks so I would like to know your percentile which you have got for 1st march , 1st shift. But in general I am prediciting you will easily get good nits like Rourkela , patna. Note only few nits provides bsc not all.

It is difficult to get into iisc as to get into iisc you need to score a rank of under 250 in all india jee mains. So you need to buckle up for that if you want to get into iisc.

i paid for feb attempt and then april attempt but the confirmation page is only showing transacation date that of feb attemt n not for march but the fees shows 1300 ,650 each what do i do

Anurag Khanna 29th Mar, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

There might be some technical glitch or network error, so what I would suggest is just log out and close the browser and then re-login again after reopening the browser and make sure your Internet connection should be good. Now just check your confirmation page, in the section of payment details it should be written there that transaction is successful.

If the issue persists then I would recommend you to reach out to NTA either through the given contact detail :-

0120 6895200, 011-40759000

or check out the official link given below :-

Some insights of JEE-Main 2021 :-

> To qualify for JEE Mains, there is no minimum aggregate percentage criteria and also if you want to take admission into NITs, IIITs or CFTIs then you should pass in your class 12th. Because as per the latest announcement made by our Hon'ble Education minister Mr.Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank, the 75% criteria has been removed for upcoming year 2021-22.

> Also from this year according to New Education Policy the JEE-Main examination will be conducted in English, Hindi and other regional languages such as Bengali, Gujarati, Assamese, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Odia and Malayalam.

This year JEE-Main is being conducted with slight changes in it's pattern and it's conduction and you can check out all the changes from the link given below :-

i got 81.9 percentile in jee mains march attempt 2021. iam obc ncl category.iam from tamilnadu.can i get nit with this mark..and am i qualified for jee advance 2021 with this percentile

Sowmya Konkala 29th Mar, 2021

hello aspirant,

81.9 percentile  could fetch you a rank around 185163-208150 .now these are based on previous year analysis .As of now its tough to say because the analysis and also cutoffs change every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exam, difficulty level of paper etc.based on your rank you have tough to no chances to fetch seat in government colleges like  nits, iiits.you need a minimum percentile of 96-98+ to fetch seat in good nits, iiits.the previous  year qualifying percentile for obc was 70-75 percentile.so based on that you have good chances to get qualified in jeemain.note that each year cutoff changes and if it changes so are your chances into colleges. try to fetch seat in private colleges or universities.or you can try the state btech colleges using jeemain percentile. you need better percentile to fetch seat.workhard for the upcoming jeemain sessions..you can get closing rank for josaa official website: https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

.for more information to get a personalised report on what all chances you have for your rank refer to: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

hope this helps,

thankyou.
