Anurag Khanna 27th Mar, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

According to the mentioned percentile your rank is expected to be in the range of 265980 - 299000 , you can check out marks Vs ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-marks-vs-percentile

Or

You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

So on such rank and category you have no chance to get any of the top NITs/IIITs/CFTIs but you can try for some lower NITs like NIT Agartala, NIT Sikkim and so on if you deserves Home state quota for any of them otherwise I would recommend you to either go for state counselling for state GFTIs or for private colleges or you can prepare for further attempts of JEE-Main and to help you in your preparation we have some resources which you can access from the link given below :-

https://learn.careers360.com/jee-main-coaching/?utm_source=%20QnA

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the official website of JOSAA as given below :-

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

Sohamsengupta8 26th Mar, 2021

Hello student,

First of all congratulations for getting such marks. Although the cutoff trend changes every year, in this percentile you can get your general rank in between from 1.22lakhs to 1.66 Lakhs . However as you belongs to SC category your rank will be lower than this. There is a bit chance  to get NITs with branches like ceramic Engineering chemical Engineering printing Technology etc. However you can get

  • NIT Jalandhar in biotechnology
  • NIT Agartala
  • NIT goa
  • NIT Hamirpur
  • Etc

my JEE mains march 2021 session is 94.4938158 what will be my rank in obc ncl

Sowmya Konkala 26th Mar, 2021

94.4938158 percentile could fetch you a rank around 56328-63321 and obc category rank around 16500-17000.now these are based on previous year analysis .As of now its tough to say because the analysis and also cutoffs change every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exam, difficulty level of paper etc..considering you from general category you have fair chances  chances to fetch seat in government colleges nits or iiits, like NIT agartala-chemistry,biotechnology,physics etc .workhard for the upcoming jeemain sessions..however once check your homestate cutoff for nit.you can get closing rank for josaa official website: https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

.for more information to get a personalised report on what all chances you have for your rank refer to: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

hope this helps,

thankyou.

According to the JEE Menke exam of February and March, how many marks should be there for More than 99.5 percentile in JEE Main (April) 2021.

Sowmya Konkala 26th Mar, 2021

Hello aspirant,

As of now it's tough to say what could be the cutoff because every year the cutoff changes due to many factors like total students appearing for exam, difficulty level of paper etc factors.but based on previous year analysis and your rank, category we can help you with your query.now going through the percentile vs marks in march session you need to score minimum 200 to fetch a percentile for 99.5-99.58.a score above 200 would be much safer.you  can check the below link for more clear information for marks  vs percentile analysis: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

hope this helps,

thankyou.
