Or

You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-

So on such rank and category you have no chance to get any of the NITs/IIITs/CFTIs, so I would recommend you to either go for state counselling for state GFTIs or for private colleges or you can prepare for further attempts of JEE-Main and to help you in your preparation we have some resources which you can access from the link given below :-

https://learn.careers360.com/jee-main-coaching/?utm_source=%20QnA

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the official website of JOSAA as given below :-

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

hi my marks are are 248 in march attempt .I gave 18 march 1st shift l got 95.6 percentile. but my friend s in other shifts got 98 .98 percentile .why is it so.

Anurag Khanna 25th Mar, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

See this is because the first shift of March 18th was moderately easy in comparison to other shifts, so there is huge possibility that your friends might have appeared in the shifts tougher than that of yours.

98.23 percentile pl,rank how is it possible 20k, only 620000 attended 17th March 2021 jeemains

Sharon Rose Student Expert 26th Mar, 2021

Hello,

As per our JEE Main rank predictor tool the overall expected rank to be in between 18107 - 20355. To check the overall percentile and rank you can use our JEE Main rank predictor tool: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor/

The predicted rank is the overall expected rank that you might score. The overall rank is not calculated shift wise but the whole session is considered to determine the rank. Also the rank predictor is based on previous year data so the actual final rank may vary as the total number of candidates appeared, highest score, normalized marks etc.

Sir I got 46 marks in jee march session, shift:- 16 march (9-12), and my predicted percentile everywhere was around 78-80%tile but I got 63 percentile... isnt it much difference

vibinoff 25th Mar, 2021

Hi Buddy,

I am also shocked due to change in trend of Percentile vs marks. But it's due to the reason that most of the students have high marks than usual. Since % of students who scored equal to or less than your marks have been decreased in that particular session. This happened with 18th March shift 2 also.

All predictors will come with disclaimers that their prediction is subjected to changes. Trends are again changing this year i guess.

Thank you!

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 25th Mar, 2021
Hi

With 96.20percentile

Your ews rank will be around 5,500.

With above ews rank, you have chances in NITs, iiitsetc. For example, you have chances in

  • NIT srinagar :- civil engineering

  • IIITDM Kancheepuram :-B.Tech Mechanical Smart Manufacturing

And a fewmore

For previous year cut offs of top colleges like NITs, IIITs, GFTIs , you can refer our page at :-

NITs :- https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/nits-cutoff-for-top-btech-branches

IIITs:- https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-top-iiits

GFTIs :- https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-top-gftis

Or alternately you can visit official website of josaa at

https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx

Above prediction of colleges is on the basis of past year data but cut off/closing rank for colleges keeps changing every year depending upon many factors like number of students that appeared in the examination, difficulty level of the JEE main question paper for different shifts etc so
