Hello,
Percentile score is the total percentage of candidates who have scored equal marks or less than you in the session. The marks scored in each individual subject and the overall marks scored will be considered. And the marks vs percentile score trends depends on the highest marks scored by a candidate, difficulty level of the exam, total number of candidates appeared, tie breakers etc. The predicted score before the result and the final score varies because the predicted percentile score is based on previous year data and the numbers keep changing for the factors that determine the percentile. And the result that is published by NTA is fair and final. There will not be any discrepancies in the results.
A percentile score of 47 may not have chances to qualify in JEE Main if you belong to General/OBC-NCL/EWS/SC category. You may have to prepare for JEE Main upcoming session and score above 90 percentile to have decent chances to get seat in a college. The qualifying cut off percentile for JEE Main 2020 was as follows
Cut off changes every year depending on various factors like number of seats available, difficulty level of exam and number of candidates appeared etc.
