B.Tech Bio-Chemistry is not offered in any NITs. B.Tech Biotechnology, B.tech Bio Medical Engineering, B.Tech Biotechnology and Bio Chemical Engineering courses are offered in various NITs. Also with such rank it is very difficult to get seat in NIT. The ideal score percentile score must be minimum 97 to have decent chances to get seat in NIT.

These can be due to normalization amongst all the shifts. In general if your level of the paper is easy (as per NTA) then its expected that you will get less percentile than the other with harder questions.
So this can be the explanation for which it is possible.
