i got 77.8269700 percentile in march attempt i am s.c. category student from haryana can i get cs/ IT in nits or iiits or gftis in north india

Sharon Rose Student Expert 23rd Apr, 2021

Hello,

Based on our JEE Main rank predictor tool the overall expected rank will be in between 226830 - 254990. The link to the rank predictor tool is: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor/

The category rank is expected to be over 40000. Considering the previous year cut off you don't have chances of getting seat in NITs, IIITs or GFTIs. You need to score minimum 92-95 percentile to have decent chances of getting seat in NIT or IIIT or GFTI. SO if you wish to get seat in any of these institutes, you need to prepare for JEE Main remaining sessions and score 92-95 percentile. However, you have chances to qualify in JEE Main based on previous year qualifying cut off percentile. For SC category the cut off percentile was 50.1760245 in 2020. Cut off is subjected to change, it may increase or decrease depending on total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of exam and number of seats available etc.

Sharon Rose Student Expert 23rd Apr, 2021

Hello,

If we use our JEE Main rank predictor tool, the predicted overall rank is 38804 - 43621 . The link to the rank predictor tool is: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor/

Admission to DTU is based on AIR in JEE Main. Considering the previous year cut off you have chances of getting seat in the following branches under SC (outside Delhi region) category

  • Bio-Technology
  • Civil Engineering
  • Electrical
  • Electronics and Communication Engineering
  • Engineering Physics
  • Environmental Engineering
  • IT
  • Mathematics and Computing
  • Mechanical
  • Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Automotive Engineering
  • Production and Industrial Engineering
  • Software Engineering

The cut off depends on number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of exam, total number of seats available etc. So the cut off changes every year.

You can use our JEE main college predictor tool to know the colleges in which you may get seat

how much marks for 97 percentile in jee main march 2021 attempt 16 march S-2

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 14th Mar, 2021

Hi

It is quite difficult to make prediction as marks vs percentile vs rank keeps turning every year depending upon a number of factors like

*Number of students that appeared in the exam

*difficulty level of the JEE main examination for different shifts

*Kind of marks obtained by the students in the exam etc

But yes,

To get 97 percentile you should try to get at least around 135 to 140 marks .

For example,

As per our predictor with 135 marks, Overall Percentile considering  that the question paper is of moderate level  is :- 96.53 - 97.93

You can check the same at

pdwords Student Expert 14th Mar, 2021

Hello,

SLAT exam is scheduled to be held on 27th of June, hence there is still more than three months to go, and you can definitely try for it, have a positive attitude, and grasp the basics, if your general knowledge is weak then read newspaper on a daily basis for covering the dynamic portion, and when it comes to analytical and logical reasoning, it's all about understanding the concepts, and practice it on a daily basis, there are mainly five sections in the exam, hence it's important that you make a timetable, acquaint yourself with the topics, and learn it accordingly, you can set aside the weekends for going through sample papers, as this will further help you evaluate your progress along with previous year papers. to know more details regarding this, visit our page at https://law.careers360.com/articles/slat-syllabus
