can i do b ed with arts? i have done the my graduation (b sc) with math

gupta.virat1357 18th Sep, 2022
Hello,
Yes, you can do so. The eligibility criteria for BEd is graduation with at least 50% marks. You have to give an entrance exam for the admission, and yes, you should give the subject of your choice to write the exam. In this way you can do the BEd through Arts. B. Ed. in mathematics can be opted by any student who has taken mathematics as a main subject in his or her graduation. This course can be done by B.Sc maths or B.A math students. Then don't be upset if you want to choose a different subject than your graduation you can take it in B. ED but the only condition is that then you have to do a post-graduation degree in the Subject you want to choose.
BEd Course can be done in various specializations. Each specialization focuses on the subject chosen by the student. students who favor Commerce should prefer BEd Commerce Syllabus and students who like computer science may opt for BEd Computer science syllabus.
BA with history, geography, economics or political science gives better advantage as Social science teacher. Other also have the subject requirement to become teacher.
The minimum qualification required for entry into B. Ed. course is intermediate (10+2). While students from the Arts stream are trained to teach subjects like History, Civics, Geography, and languages, the students from the Science stream are trained to teach Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Hello Pradip

According to information bulletin released by NTA regarding NEET 2022 following are eligibility criteria for qualifying exam :

  1. Candidates must have passed in Physics, Chemistry Biology/Biotechnology and English individually.
  2. Must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  3. But for SC ,ST, OBC, it 45%  and for PWD candidates it is 40% .
  4. Maths is excluded.

According to CBSE to pass 12th you need 33% separately in theory and practicals.

If total marks in theory is 70 then you have to score at least 23 marks.
If total marks in theory is 80 then minimum marks required should be 27.
If total marks in practical is 30 then passing marks should be 10.

According to CBSE, you have not scored minimum required marks in chemistry and physics theory.
So, you are not eligible for MBBS .
But you have qualified NEET exam .

Thanks

After giving neet exam for 2 years I failed..Now I have an option to do btech or bsc from private college..or giving neet again...But my parents now will not allow me to take drop ,other than mbbs my preference also btech but I am not too good in math what should I do for my better future???

Dear aspirant!

Hope you are doing well!

Both degrees are equally important. If you are really interested in science and want to do PhD and get into teaching profession in long run, you should go for BSc. However, if you want to contribute to the industry or want to get into entrepreneurship, you should go for BTech. GO for btech from a top college .

Engineering is filled with numerous job opportunities and prospects that are in high demand presently and the future . As per a 2018 report by US Bureau of Labor Statistics, nearly 140,000 new jobs are expected in the field of engineering boosting the employment growth in 2016-26.

Hope it helps you!

Thanks

I have passed 12th class in RBSE Board in the year 2022 with math, phisics, chemistry. Now i want to clear neet in 2023 with additional taking biology subject in the year 2023. Can I eligible for the same

ARPITA MONDAL 4th Sep, 2022

Hi Varsha,

The answer is yes . You will be eligible for NEET 2023.

You will need to secure at least 50% marks in PHYSICS CHEMISTRY and  BIOLOGY in your 12th board exams. It does not matter if Biology is additional subject, you will have to just score the marks in it.

I wish you good luck for your preparation.

I am weak in math scored less in 12 can I do btech in electronics / other branches from private college will I get back or I would be able to pass? This year was my 2 nd drop for neet and still scoring less

aswathypadinjakkara 2nd Sep, 2022

Hey

You can take btech in any of the branches. If you are willing to take a little effort and hardwork you can study btech. Mathematics is included in all the branches of btech till 5th semester. But its not that tough you can pull off. Mathematics is included as a subject in each sem for every branch till your third year. But there are other subjects too.
