Even though you passed Class 12 with PCM, you can still appear for NEET in 2026 if you complete Biology as an additional subject, either through NIOS or as a private candidate from a recognized board. NEET eligibility requires Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology with English. Start preparing with NCERT Biology books (Class 11 & 12), followed by standard practice books like Trueman’s Biology and MTG NEET guides. Also, enroll in a NEET-focused coaching program (online/offline) and aim to give mock tests regularly. You have enough time to build a strong foundation and crack NEET 2026.

Yes, the IIT JAM Mathematics syllabus is mostly the same as what is taught in B.Sc. Mathematics. Core topics like Calculus, Algebra, Differential Equations, and Real Analysis overlap. However, JAM tests deeper understanding and problem-solving skills, often at a higher difficulty level than typical B.Sc. exams. Some topics may also be covered more rigorously or appear in more applied forms. So while the syllabus is similar, focused preparation is needed to match JAM’s level.
Hello Abhimanyu,
If you received an RT (Repeat Theory) in Mathematics, but your CBSE mark sheet shows "Pass", then technically, you are eligible to take admission. However, almost all universities including Integral University require you to eventually clear all subjects. In the case you do not clear the RT within the time allowed, or before the document verification deadline for the university, then your admission could be cancelled. I would recommend you contact the admission office directly, and to also appear for the compartment exam if necessary.

Hello,
If you have passed your 12th class from Maharashtra Board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) as main subjects and Mathematics was taken as an optional subject, then failing in Mathematics will not affect your eligibility for PCB group.
Even if you appeared for improvement and failed in Maths, your original marks in PCB subjects will still be valid. Since you are from the general category and your PCB marks are clear, you will be eligible for admission in PCB-based courses like MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, etc.
So, there is no problem if you failed in Maths, as long as your PCB subjects are passed.
Hope it helps !
