Mathematics
Hello aspirant, Deen Dayal Upadhyay College does not offer a BBA program; instead, it provides a Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) degree. For eligibility in BMS at DDU, candidates must have studied Mathematics (or Applied Mathematics) in Class 12. This requirement applies to all candidates, regardless of board or category. So, if you haven't taken Maths in 12th, you cannot apply for BMS at DDU. As for BBA, since DDU doesn't offer it, that option isn't available there either.
If you're keen on pursuing BBA outside DDU without Maths, some private or state-level institutions may accept students without Maths, but in Delhi University, Maths is essential for BMS admission.
Hi dear candidate,
The admission dates for M.Sc in mathematics may vary from college to college like for Delhi University it might be different and for Chennai Mathematics Institute (CMI) it might be different. Generally, all the PG exams dates are announced in June / July. As of now the last date to apply for M.Sc (Maths) in DU was on 9th June 2025.
ALL THE BEST !
Hello Aspirant,
Yes, you are eligible for NEET and Veterinary courses if you fulfill the required PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) percentage criteria even if you failed in Mathematics.
You must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually.
Minimum required marks (General Category): 50% aggregate in PCB
For OBC/SC/ST: 40% aggregate in PCB
Mathematics is not mandatory for NEET eligibility. Since you passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology, you can appear for NEET if your PCB aggregate is above the required percentage.
For Veterinary ,eligibility is same as NEET eligibility.
All the best for your journey.
Hello,
With 409 rank in Mathematics under BC-D female category in AP EDCET, you have a fair chance to get a seat in a good government B.Ed college , especially if you choose less competitive districts.
Yes, it is possible to get admission without going to the college or writing any extra exams. The admission process is based on your rank, counselling, and web options. You just need to attend the counselling and choose your preferred colleges online.
So, no need to write any extra exam. Just wait for the counselling schedule and follow the process.
Hope it helps !
For the Doon University BSc Mathematics undergraduate entrance exam, general awareness questions will likely cover current events, Indian polity, history, and basic science.
While the specific syllabus for the entrance exam isn't detailed, you can expect questions similar to those in a general knowledge section of a sample paper like the one from Doon University.

You may have chance to get admission in some private or state level colleges in Lucknow . Admission will depend on cut off , seat availability and it will be best to check the official website of colleges and contact their admission offices for more details .
Yes, you can still pursue B.Tech in Computer Science if you have a backlog in Mathematics. But for that, you need to check for college because some private universities and state colleges provide admission for B.Tech, provided that you pass the supplementary examination. However, top government colleges and universities have a strict policy that you need to pass all the subjects. So, it is important to check the criteria before you applying for it. All the best for your future.
The deleted portion from Mathematics for 2025 varies by board (CBSE, state boards, etc.). Most boards release updated syllabus before the academic year. You should check the latest official syllabus from your respective board or ask your school for the revised curriculum.
