I am not actually good at maths, probably average, but I dont have interest in any other subjects. Should I opt for a BSc in mathematics and can get good grades?

Arhana Chakraborty 3rd May, 2022

MATHEMATICS  is a skill which you develop over time. So don't worry about this. There is nothing you called Average. It may be the case, that you have not pushed yourself that much. See the interest is the main factor for a student who want to pursue a career in anything. So if you are interested in Mathematics just go for it. With time you will get to learn a lot from the subject. See not everyone is a master of all topics of Mathematics. So pursue your interest and you will find yourself to enjoy the subject as well as you will score great in the subject.

I have take commerce with mathematics can I find admission in B. A(hons) in mathematics or bsc in mathematics.

Sajal Trivedi 1st May, 2022

Hello aspirant,

A B.Sc. Hons. Mathematics is a bachelor's degree programme in mathematics. It's a bachelor's degree in mathematics with honours. The course will take three years to complete. To enrol in the programme, students must have completed a minimum of 10+2 in physics, chemistry, and mathematics.

Yes, a commerce student can definitely enrol in a BSc Hons or in ba (hons) programme. If math is one of your subjects in 12th grade, even if it is optional. No institution would normally deny a student because they are from a different stream, but your percentage should not be less than 50%.

Thank you

Hope this information helps.
