Hello,
Last year the cut off for admission to B.Sc Economics (Hons) in ST. Xavier's College, Kolkata was 171 marks for candidates who have passed class 12th from CBSE board with Science Stream and 172 marks for candidates who have passed class 12th The formula from CBSE board with Commerce and Arts Stream. The formula to calculate the merit for B.Sc Economics is 75% of Marks scored in (Mathematics+overall aggregate)+ 25% of Marks scored in Mathematics. Total is out of 175 marks. You haven't mentioned your stream, marks scored in Mathematics and over aggregate marks. Please use the above mentioned formula to calculate the marks. If your score is above 171 or 172 marks depending on your stream then you have good chances of getting admission. This year the cut off may vary depending on total number of candidates applied for admission, highest marks scored, total number of seats available.
I believe you're enquiring about bachelor in radiation technology and diploma in radiation technology, the former is for a duration of two years while the latter is an undergraduate course for a duration of three years, these are basically courses in which knowledge about the treatment of illness is imparted, there is theoretical and practical application of radio diagnostic technology, medical imaging, radiographic techniques, procedures involving patient care etc, see this is completely different field than that of mathematics, if you want to change your career to different domain then perhaps you may consider pursuing the courses , however you have to keep in mind that these are of two-three years duration, and you're already a mathematics graduate, so what about your BSc Maths Degree, it would be lot more better if you pursue higher studies such as MSc, later appear for CSIR NET/SET at state level, you can teach in colleges after qualifying these exams, for teaching in school BEd is compulsory, other than this you can pursue MBA if you're interested in management domain, these courses are definitely more aligned with your graduation degree, eventually the decision will be yours, since it's a question of your career think with clarity taking into consideration everything.
