I am studying class 11. In weekend tests I am getting 100/300 in mains conducted by our college. And I am week in mathematics. How to prepare for mains to crack it without fail with a good percentile...

Shivam Gupta 24th Jan, 2022

Hey Aspirant,

Hope you are doing great,

As you want to know about the tips to prepare for the Math's in JEE Mains.

JEE main math's is straightforward, but it necessitates a great deal of speed, which necessitates practice. In recent years, the paper has also grown in length. Each chapter's NCERT miscellaneous problems should be completed.

Also, practice a lot, there are books available in the market that cover the last 10 or more years of JEE main paper. Do it to get a sense of the questions on the paper. They mostly prepare for advanced because the majority of people who appear in mains also give advanced.

However, there are a few chapters in the mains that are not advanced, such as Set Theory, Statistics, and Mathematical Reasoning, that students ignore, but these chapters frequently come up in questions. So make sure you complete them correctly and remain confident that the questions will not be difficult.

Best of luck :)

If you want to choose any one, that is, PCB or PCM depending on the course you want to pursue further, then it is necessary that you become aware about both of these courses.

B.Arch: B.Arch is a course that involves the study of human psychology, physical and chemical qualities of various materials, and the study of architecture and its form. A creative mind and the ability to envision things are required. Bachelor of Architecture is concerned with structures or spaces that have been thoughtfully planned by a designer or architect and are the most pleasant for anybody to utilise. Bachelor of architecture (B.Arch) is the study of several areas of architecture using various disciplines such as Humanities, Environmental Studies, Mathematics, Engineering, and Aesthetics.

In an examination, 80% of the students passed in English, 85% in Mathematics and 75% in both English and Mathematics. If 40 students failed in both the subject, find the total number of students.

piyush263001 19th Jan, 2022

Hello,

Consider the total number of student sto be X

Now we know that 75% students passed in Both English and Mathematics as given in the question.

------ This means 25% students failed in both the subjects.

Also it is given that total students who failed in both English and mathematics are 40.

When we form equation from the above data it can be represented as -

( 25/100 ) • X = 40

On solving -

X = 160

Hence, total number of students are 160.
