Hello Aspirant,
The International Mathematics Olympiad was conducted by the National Board for Higher Mathematics (NBHM) from 1986 onwards. IMO is currently running in collaboration with the HBCSE, Mumbai. The exam was started in 1959 in Romania. India has been participating in IMO since 1989 and has been winning an honourable mention most years.
Given below are important dates for the HBCSE IMO.
IMO is conducted in six stages, with the first five being conducted in India (by HBCSE), and the last one is a member country (different each year).
There are a total of 4 stages for the HBCSE Mathematics Olympiad.
Stage 1: Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM)
The first stages of the HBCSE Maths Olympiad, PRMO and RMO, are combined to a single qualifier Olympiad, the Indian Olympiad Qualifier in Mathematics (IOQM). The stage is organized by the Mathematics Teachers' Association (India). The test is for a three-hour examination comprising 30 questions, with each question having an integer answer in the range 00-99.
Stage 2: Indian National Mathematics Olympiad
The second stage of IMO is Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO), organized by the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE), TIFR. It is a four-hour exam comprising of 6 questions with proof-based answers.
Stage 3: HBCSE IMOTC
The top scorers in the INMO exam are invited to the International Mathematics Olympiad Training Camp.
Stage 4: International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO)
A member country holds this stage. Students selected after the above rounds are sent along with a few teachers to accompany them for a two-day examination.
Hope this helps.
Hello,
You haven't mentioned the name of the college for which you're enquiring, you can visit the official website, usually updates pertaining to recruitment of faculty can be easily accessed in the official website only, generally speaking you can apply for faculty if you have qualified CSIR NET as this is imperative for lectureship, other than there are also state level SETs conducted for the recruitment of assistant professor which you can try.
other than this if you're actively looking for jobs you can sign up for job portals, you will get regular updates pertaining to faculty position, for example LinkedIn is quite helpful regarding this, other than this there is naukri.com/indeed (//naukri.com/indeed) to name a few which might help you regarding this.

It is no possible to predict the marks for the seat as the marks change each and every year and the cut off also changes sometimes it may go up and sometimes down. Because the criteria of deciding marks depends upon various factors such as the difficulty of the questions, no of questions, etc.
GOOD LUCK, STAY MOTIVATED AND HOPE THIS HELPS.
