I had passed my 12 boards(cbse) in 2021 but I got rt in mathematics. So I am giving exam in 2022 as a private student so I should give the exam as a compartment or improvement ??

Muskan Shokeen 19th Dec, 2021

Hello Aspirant.

Hope you are doing well.

First of all I would like to tell that the RT is{ Repeat theory} paper and Students with RT against a subject need to appear for the theory paper of the examination during the compartment examinations. And it will be considered as an compartment exam and you should also be give it as an compartment exam.

GOOD LUCK, STUDY HARD AND STAY MOTIVATED.

HOPE THIS HELPS.

Thankyou.

Cat-89.90% 10th-85% 12th-75% grad-58%(B.Sc Mathematics) Fresher Can I expect a call form Great lakes chennai PGDM,will my grad score affect or should I apply to it?

keshav kumar 27th Jan, 2022

Hi Aspirant,

Hope you are doing great.

You have scored pretty well in CAT but still, great lakes put too much emphasis on your past academic performance. Your 10th and 12th marks are decent but the low performance in graduation can restrict your call from this college. Generally, the cut off of this college revolves around 85 percentile in CAT. So, there are some chances that you might get a call from this college at 89.90 percentile.

All the best.

Staff selection commission(ssc) conducts combined graduation level examination every year for recruitment to group 'B' and 'C' post in central ministries and departments.it is a very competitive exam almost 2 million candidates filled form last year and 1 million appeared for the exam.

There is 4 section in the paper and level of the maths and english is of 12th standard.

Pattern of the exam

  • English comprehension-25 marks
  • Reasoning ability-25 marks

  • General awareness-25 marks

Eligibility criteria

  • 18 years to 32 years (Relaxation to reserved category)
  • Completed or appeared graduation degree
  • Indian or Indian Origin or subject of Nepal/Bhutan

Preparation strategy

English - strong your vocab part by reading english newspaper.solve previous paper as most of the questions directly asked from here.

Maths -60 percent questions asked from the previous paper in maths also.but if you want lead you need to solve difficult questions.

General awareness -in this section static and current g.k is asked keep updated yourself.lucent book is sufficient for static portion.

Reasoning- practice is the only key in reasoning learn short tricks to solve the problem in less time.

There is no hard and fast rule to crack ssc cgl it is only your hard work and consistency which helps you to ace the exam.ramniwas mathuriya is one of the best book for ssc cgl just go through book twice it is sufficient.

Dear student,

Since you have physics, chemistry and mathematics in class 12th , therefore you are eligible for JEE Mains , however for becoming eligible to give JEE advanced you need to give JEE mains , upon which you need to meet the specified cut off.

Following is the eligibility criteria for JEE examination:
