See as per the guidelines of UGC, a student can't do two full time courses simultaneously. Now as you are doing Mathematics and you wish to do GNM then you have to choose one. This is not only from the perspective of UGC guidelines, but its also a concern about your curriculum as well. It may occur that your Mathematics exam as well as your GNM subjects examination can occur at the same time. That way you have to choose one/ So if you are interested in GNM then go for it and if you really enthusiastic about Mathematics Hons. then go for it. Doing both will not be beneficial or efficient at all.

Hi there,
For doing engineering whether it is computer Or anything you need to clear the boards in PCM category and you have to clear entrance examination for that maths is compulsory.
Although you can go for BCA bachelor in computer application for this degree you don't need maths in standard 12th.But you have to learn it during your bca degree.
Hello,
It's all depend on you Knowledge, Communication Skills and Understanding in your subject (i.e. Mathematics).
Hope you will understand
Thank You.
If youre talking about 2 Yr MSc in Mathematics/ Mathematics & Computing/Statistics & Informatics yes like, definitely you'll have opportunities of working with the Coaching and EdTech Sector. However, incase youre referring to the 5 Year Integrated Course, I believe you have excellent placements there, in the Analytics, Data Science, Finance and Software Profiles mostly, one doesnt need to stretch beyond that. Of course you do have Coaching & EdTech Companies at Placements though and they pay you anywhere between 5-10LPA.
See if you want to do any course then you can go in distance as you can't do two full time courses at a time. But if you are a student of Bsc Hons in Mathematics and if you are wiling to get a good job then I would recommend you to prepare for IIT JAM examination which is a entrance exam for MSc in IIT's. If you can qualify this exam then you can take admission in Msc Mathematics and Computing. This course has very good values ahead. Firstly you can go for IIT's secondly the placements are very good for this course and the students can work in companies such as British Analytica, TCS, Wipro etc. So this can be a really good examination you can target in order to be benefitted the most from the discipline you are studying in it. Also there are amazing research opportunities both in India as well as outside. SO this can be a good option for you.

Hi Aspirant!
The entire syllabus of CA intermediate is divided in to eight subjects and two groups. Mathematics is not important to study Chartered Accountancy, not as a subject. But you will need to use basic mathematics operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, etc. to solve the problems of Taxation, cost management, financial management etc.

ICAI - The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (http://www.icai.org/post/intermediate-course)
Thankyou!
Hello dear !!
Yes you can crack CA if your weak at maths:)
Mathematics is only required in the first level of CA I.e, CPT to qualify for the CA IPCC( if your in undergraduate) but also If you are in graduation you can pursue CA IPCC directly without clearing CPT .
If your little good at basic maths and calculation then that's more than enough!
Don't worry about only maths subject intentionally! Just give your best !
You should be more strong in other subjects which will fetch you higher !
As a CA profession needs skills of maths, you need to be confident at that , so it's better to learn atleast the basics , so you won't loose your confidence !
Good luck !
Hello Sourav Kumar Deo,
In the statement which you mentioned above in the question, the concerned subject implies that if you are giving exam for BSc Hons Physics then you should have more than 50% marks only in Physics also apart from the aggregate.
If you are giving the entrance exam for BSc Hons Chemistry then you should have more than 50% marks in Chemistry only apart form the aggregate.
HOPE THIS HELPS
