senior secondary school certificate or an equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate of physics, chemistry and mathematics and in the subject concerned please clarify that and in the subject concerned means

Swarnendu Bhattacharya 17th Aug, 2021

Hi

It depends on which exam you are applying for. You haven't specified the examination name.

To tell you the actual meaning of ' subjects concerned ' it generally refers to a subject whose marks the testing agency considers and is a eligibility criteria. It basically means the subjects which are related to the examinations for admission in UG courses of science after 12th standard exam .For example in NEET marks of biology is considered and without biology Biotechnology marks is considered, so Biotechnology becomes the subject concerned. There the some exams where English marks is considered along with physics, chemistry and maths. The English here is a subject concerned.

Hope this helps.

If I get 92 percentile in physics 95 in chemistry and 94 in mathematics in jee main then what is my rank and overall percentile

Anurag Khanna 20th Aug, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

See your overall percentile of JEE-Main cannot be calculated from the separate percentiles of the three subjects. Let me explain you, why. See percentile is simply the percentage of students scoring equal to or less than the score that you have scored in JEE-Main and this criteria is implied for each of the three subjects as well as for overall percentile. So as you have scored 92 percentile in Physics, which means that 92% students have scored either less than or equal to you in Physics part of JEE-Main 2021. From the data given by you it is not there that how much marks in total you got and your overall percentile and rank will only be decided on the basis of what marks have you achieved as per the answer key of JEE-Main 2021.

However you can check out marks Vs CRL ranks Vs Percentile from the link given below :-

Or

You can also use JEE-Main Rank Predictor to predict your rank :-

can i get mathematics and computing in DTU..my rank is 45k...i m general Delhi Candidate.. considering 30 seats added in that particular branch.. so should I go till spot round for that branch?

Atul Singh 24th Sep, 2021

Dear student,

The last year cutoff for the mathematics and computing was 18928 in the last i.e. spot round of counselling and according to your if we add 30 more seats then there might be a chance that it can jump up to 35-40K but not too much. As you got 45K rank so there is a very less chance that you can get mathematics and computing in the DTU.

Moreover you can get branches like Electrical, mechanical and all other lower branches.

You can use this link to find some other good colleges for yourself according to your rank.

Hello I am a PCB student, can i write only PCB in KCET exam for bsc. horticulture?? Is mathematics required for horticulture admission?

Akanksha 27th Aug, 2021
Hii

No. You do not have to write Mathematics  in KCET compulsorily if you want to get into BSc Horticulture. You can opt for Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects in KCET.
With PCB subjects in KCET you can into Medical allied courses like BSc. Agriculture, Bsc. Horticulture, and many others.
For getting MBBS degree, NEET has been made compulsory all over India.

Hope this helps

senior secondary school certificate or an equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate of physics, chemistry and mathematics and in the subject concerned.piease clarify and in the subject concerned means

tanishqgiri.goswami 14th Aug, 2021

Hello,

'' And in the Subject concerned "

In the context you have mentioned there are two possible meanings -

1. if the course demands any other subject other than PCM then its mandatory to get 50% or more in that subject too.

2. With an aggregate of 50% or more you must have the same 50% or more in individual subject.

Hope this helps,

All the best !
