best books for maths jee in hindi medium

Aman Kar 14th Apr, 2025

Preparing for JEE examination requires strong fundamentals. Here are some reputed books that can be helpful for Hindi medium students.

Key Book Recommendations:

  • NCERT Textbooks:
    • These are foundational. It's imperative to have a very firm grasp of the concepts presented in the NCERT mathematics textbooks for classes 11 and 12. These are available in Hindi medium.
  • RD Sharma (Objective Mathematics):
    • RD Sharma's books are widely used for JEE preparation. They provide a comprehensive coverage of topics with a good number of practice problems. Check for Hindi medium versions.
  • SL Loney (Trigonometry and Coordinate Geometry):
    • These are classic books for trigonometry and coordinate geometry. While direct Hindi translations might be less common, the concepts are universally applicable. If possible, use these books along with help from your teachers to translate any difficult wording.
  • Arihant Publications:
    • Arihant publishes a wide range of JEE preparation books, and they often have Hindi medium versions. Look for their books on specific topics like algebra, calculus, and coordinate geometry.
  • Physics Wallah (PW) Study Material:
    • Physics Wallah provides study Material that is also available in the Hindi language. They provide a very good study source for JEE preperation.

Important Considerations for Hindi Medium Students:

  • Terminology:
    • Pay close attention to the mathematical terminology in both Hindi and English. This will be helpful when you encounter questions or explanations in either language.
  • Conceptual Clarity:
    • Focus on understanding the underlying concepts rather than just memorizing formulas.
  • Practice:
    • Practice as many problems as possible, especially those from previous years' JEE papers.
  • Online Resources:
    • Utilize online resources like educational videos and websites that offer explanations in Hindi.

· Local Bookstores:

  • Check with bookstores in your area that specialize in educational materials.

· Online Retailers:

  • Websites like Amazon and Flipkart offer a wide selection of JEE preparation books, including Hindi medium versions.

Hope this helps !

hlo ..Maine 2024 me 12th ki h mera cbse board h or mai 5 subject me pass hu but mere 6th subject maths me RT h or maine 2024 me compartment nhi diya to kya mai direct 2025 ke july or August me ek subject ke liye compartment de skta hu

SUKRITI GUPTA 18th Apr, 2025

Yes, as a student who passed in 5 subjects in the 12th CBSE board exams in 2024 but got 'Repeat Theory' (RT) in the 6th subject, you are eligible to appear for the compartment exam in that one subject in 2025 .

According to CBSE rules, students who fail in one or two subjects are placed in the compartment category and are given a chance to clear these subjects in subsequent examinations. You are allowed a total of three attempts to clear the compartment exam.

Since you did not appear for the compartment exam in 2024, you can avail the subsequent chances. The compartment exams are typically held in July/August of the following year. Therefore, you should be able to appear for the compartment exam in your failed subject in July/August 2025 .

Here's what you need to do:

  • Stay in touch with your school: The application process for the compartment exam is usually facilitated through your school for regular students. They will likely inform you about the dates and the procedure for applying.
  • Check the official CBSE website: Keep an eye on the official CBSE website ( https://www.cbse.gov.in/ ) for notifications regarding the compartment exams, including the schedule and application dates.
  • Fill the application form: You will need to fill out the compartment exam application form and pay the required fee. Your school will guide you through this process.
  • Prepare for the exam: Focus on the subject you have to reappear for and prepare well to clear it in this attempt.

This July/August 2025 session will likely be your second chance to clear this subject (the first chance being the compartment exams held in 2024 that you didn't take). You will have one more chance after this, which would be the compartment exams held in the July/August session after the annual board exams in March/April 2026.

Make sure to contact your school administration to get the exact details about the application process and dates for the 2025 compartment exams.

I hope this helps.

Riya Dhoot 9th Apr, 2025

Hello Yajath,

with 82 in maths, 84 in physics, and 88 in chemistry, your board marks are decent. for CS in MS Ramaiah, BMS, or Dayananda Sagar under 3A + SNQ quota, aim for a KCET rank below 4000-6000. focus on scoring 120+ in KCET to boost your chances.

Hope this message finds you well,

Thank You.

How many semestets out of 8 semesters should we do maths or maths is compulsory in vit like upto some high level

sadafreen356 9th Apr, 2025

In VIT, mathematics is a compulsory subject for most engineering branches, but the number of semesters you need to study math varies depending on your branch.

Mathematics Requirements in VIT

- Common to all branches: Mathematics is compulsory for the first two semesters (Sem 1 and Sem 2) for all engineering branches.

- Branch-specific math requirements: After the first two semesters, math requirements vary depending on your branch. Some branches may require math courses in later semesters, while others may not.

- Elective math courses: You can also choose to take elective math courses in later semesters, depending on your interests and academic goals.

Examples of Math Requirements for Different Branches

- Computer Science and Engineering (CSE): Math is compulsory for the first four semesters (Sem 1-4).

- Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE): Math is compulsory for the first three semesters (Sem 1-3).

- Mechanical Engineering (MEC): Math is compulsory for the first two semesters (Sem 1-2).

Tips

- Check your course curriculum: Verify the math requirements for your specific branch and semester.

- Plan your coursework: Plan your coursework accordingly to ensure you meet the math requirements for your branch.

- Consider elective math courses: If you're interested in taking additional math courses, consider elective options in later semesters.

Keep in mind that math requirements may vary depending on your branch and academic goals. It's essential to check your course curriculum and plan your coursework accordingly.

I have passed class 12 from humanities stream and I want to do BBA LLB but I am weak in mathematics that why I am afraid of doing it I have a interesting both business and law will doing bba llb is good as i have interest in both buisness and law but i am afraid pls help and when maths is needed

Saurabh Yadav 8th Apr, 2025

Hii,

Yes, you can definitely do BBA LLB even if you're weak in maths. Since you’re interested in both business and law, this course is a great choice for you. The maths in BBA LLB is not very tough—it’s basic and practical, like simple calculations in subjects like business maths, accounting, or statistics. You don’t need to be great at maths, just willing to understand the basics.

Most of the course focuses on law and business-related topics like management, marketing, legal studies, etc. So, don’t worry—many students with weak maths do really well in BBA LLB just because they have interest and work hard.
