i got 6580 rank and i am in BC -E category can i get any chance for andhra University for MBA

harsh singh 7th Jun, 2025

With 6580 AP ICET rank and BC-E category, getting MBA at Andhra University main campus is unlikely (cutoff usually below 2000).

But you have good chances in AU-affiliated or self-financed colleges.

Attend counseling and list both main and affiliated colleges.

How is college MBA program are they provide placements as it was mentioned in the website. What about the extra curricular activities.

shobhitchaudhary3934 17th Jul, 2025

Hi Preeti,

The statistics about the placement are given on the college's official website. Or you can also contact the placement cell of that college.

Tier 1 MBA colleges like IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, FMS Delhi, etc., provide on-campus placement. Their on-campus placement rate is usually high compared to Tier 2 MBA colleges . They have a good alumni network. And good infrastructure; if you are from a Tier 2/3 MBA college, it is suggested that you work more on your skills.

MBA colleges also have extracurricular activities like sports, annual fests, cultural events, societies, and clubs. You can take part in all these. It will develop leadership, management, organizing ability, and teamwork in an individual.

All the best.

Thank you.
Regards,

i want admission in mba in human resources my education is bcom can i get admission in PUMBA college i get 65% iam in obc category

Ayush Madanpotra 14th Jun, 2025

Yes, with your BCom degree and 65 percent marks as an OBC student, you are eligible to apply for the MBA in Human Resources program at PUMBA. You meet the minimum requirement of 50 percent for general category and 45 percent for reserved categories.

Admissions are based on entrance exams like CMAT, CAT, MAH CET, ATMA, or MAT. Since you’re OBC, your category also gives you reservation benefits when seats are allocated.

To have a strong chance of getting into PUMBA’s HR specialization, your target percentiles should be:

For CMAT, around 90 percentile or higher

For CAT, between 60 to 75 percentile

For MAH CET, around 95 percentile

For MAT or ATMA, around 85 percentile or above

If you achieve these scores, you should be well placed for admission under the OBC category.

Nikita shahi 11th Aug, 2025

Hi!

An MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management focuses on the planning, implementation, and control of efficient supply chain systems. The fees for this program vary widely from 2 lakhs in government institutions to 8–12 lakhs in top private B-schools. Admission is usually based on entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, or sometimes direct admission in private colleges. After shortlisting, there may be group discussions and interviews. The course typically starts in July–August, but some universities follow a January intake. You’ll study topics like procurement, inventory management, transportation, and global supply chains. Graduates can work in industries like manufacturing, e-commerce, and logistics companies.

Thank you, and all the best for your MBA plans!
