governments colleges in Gujarat for MBA in HR with fees ratio and placement

Shekhar Pachlore 7th Aug, 2025

If you want to do an MBA in HR from a government college in Gujarat, here’s a quick overview:

FMS Baroda is one of the best government options. It has a low total fee compared to private colleges and offers good placement packages, with many students getting around 7.5 lakh per year on average. Because the fees are low and placements are good, the return on your investment is very high.

SVIM Kadi is another decent choice. The fees are a bit higher than FMS Baroda but still affordable, and average salary packages are around 3 lakh per year.

Parul Institute of Management in Vadodara also offers MBA in HR with fees a little higher but with good placement opportunities, where students earn about 4 lakh per year on average.

Gujarat University has a government MBA program too. The fees are affordable, but placement packages vary depending on the candidate and specialization.

Overall, government MBA colleges in Gujarat offer affordable fees and decent placements, especially FMS Baroda, which gives the best balance of cost and salary. For more details and exact numbers, you can visit Careers360.

Hi, My son has done BBA as part of IPM program from IIM BodhGaya(2022-25).He has got admission offer for MBA core program from IIM Jammu and PGDM( Banking and Finance) from NIBM Pune. He does not want to continue with IIM BG and for diversification of experience wants to choose between IIM Jammu and NIBM. Which one will be better. He has slight inclination for finance specialisation. For reputation of institute perspective, placement, overall experience which will be better for the long run? We are from Mumbai.

Aryan 13th Jun, 2025

Hi Arvind,

Both IIM Jammu and NIBM Pune are excellent for the MBA. One thing is that IIM Jammu carries it's own prestigious reputation of being an IIM where as the NIBM Pune has strong connections when it comes to banking and finance sector and the placements are also well praised for NIBM.

To keep everything simple I would suggest NIBM Pune as it offers better placements and importantly it's proximity to your home city Mumbai.

All the best!

Hello I am nmims cet aspirant . I was not able to download the admit card due to which I was unable to give the exam . I am really stressed out please tell me I still got a chance to figure things out . I was aiming for pharma tech mba course

Kishan Bhakat 29th Jun, 2025

Hi, first of all, take a deep breath—it’s completely normal to feel stressed in such situations, but there’s still a way forward.

If you missed the NMIMS CET exam because you couldn’t download the admit card, the first thing you should do is immediately contact the NMIMS admissions helpdesk . Explain your situation clearly—mention your application ID, registered email ID, and the exact issue you faced (like not receiving the admit card or not being able to access it on the portal). Sometimes, if it was a technical issue and you have a valid reason, they might allow you to reschedule the exam, especially if multiple test slots are available.

However, if all CET test windows have closed, you may not be able to appear this year. Still, don’t lose hope. NMIMS offers admissions through other routes like NPAT for UG management and commerce programs , or direct admission based on board scores for certain courses (depending on the stream you were aiming for—like BBA, BTech, etc.).

Also, look out for spot admissions or management quota seats , if your family is comfortable with that option financially. And if NMIMS is your top choice, remember—you can always aim again next year with better preparation and awareness of the timelines.

Lastly, don’t let one missed exam define your future. There are plenty of great colleges and entrance exams still open this year depending on your stream

i got 4902 rank . I am from Hyderabad BC - A category . Can i get seat in Andhra University School of International Business for MBA ?

Akansha Sharma 2nd Jun, 2025

With a rank of 4902 in CMAT and being from Hyderabad BC-A category, getting a seat in Andhra University School of International Business for MBA might be difficult. Usually, the cutoff is higher for top colleges. But because you belong to BC-A category, you may get some relaxation. It’s best to attend the counseling process and apply to other good colleges too. Keep checking official updates during admission time to improve your chances.
