I scored 420 neet 2025 What can I chose mbbs from abroad or bds from Indian government college ?

Akansha Sharma 2nd Jun, 2025

With a NEET 2025 score of 420, getting MBBS in a government college in India is tough, but you might get BDS in some government colleges depending on your category and state. If you're open to studying MBBS abroad, it can be a good option, especially in countries like Russia, Georgia, or the Philippines. Just make sure the college is NMC-approved. Choose based on your budget, interest, and long-term goals. Both paths can lead to a good medical career.

l am indian student not appeared for neet exam 2025 but l want to persue mbbs from nepal by giving mecee exam of nepal.....so l can give the mecee exam ????

Tanisha chaudhary 31st May, 2025

HEY THERE!!

  • Indian students who have not appeared for NEET 2025 remain eligible to pursue MBBS in Nepal by taking the MECEE-BL examination.
  • The Medical Education Commission (MEC) of Nepal allows both Indian and other international students to sit for the Medical Education Common Entrance Examination – Bachelor Level (MECEE-BL), provided they have completed their 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and achieved at least 50% aggregate marks.
  • Applicants should select Subcategory I: Foreign when applying for MECEE-BL 2025.
  • Students who qualify through MECEE-BL receive priority for MBBS admission in Nepal, ahead of those who apply solely with a NEET score.
  • It is important to note that NEET is not a mandatory requirement if you are choosing the MECEE-BL pathway.
  • NEET is necessary only for those seeking MBBS seats in Nepal without appearing for MECEE-BL, and even then, one is eligible only for seats left vacant after MECEE-BL candidates are allotted.
  • To apply, candidates must complete online registration via the MEC website, submit the necessary documents, and appear for the MECEE-BL examination in Nepal.

Shall I get MBBS in either govt or private college under government quota of 85%

Kishan Bhakat 31st May, 2025

hi,

With an 85% score, getting an MBBS seat under the government quota depends a lot on the entrance exam you appeared for (like NEET), your category, and the competition that year. If you did well in NEET and your score matches or exceeds the cutoff for government colleges in your state, there’s a good chance to get a government quota seat.

For private colleges, the government quota usually means some seats are reserved for government counselling at lower fees, so with your score, you might get a seat there too.

It’s important to check the previous year’s NEET cutoffs for both government and private colleges in your state to get an idea. Also, participate in the counselling process carefully and fill choices based on your score and preferences.

Respected sir, I have completed bsc in bio. I want to do mbbs and preparing for neet but I have a doubt. In my 10th , I failed in math subject by overall result is pass in 10th Is there any problem during mbbs admission with failing in math in 10th. And why 10th marksheet is required for mbbs admission

Pragati Mehrotra 12th Sep, 2025

Hey ,

If you have completed your 10th by passing in all other subjects and you where passed overall , so failing in one subject in your 10th does nothing to you to do mbbs . And 10th 12th mark sheets are required for your graduation courses because it is like a proof of your academics qualification verifying and consist of personal details for the same thankyou .

neet 400 neet Mbbs ug college

Akansha Sharma 2nd Jun, 2025

With around 400 marks in NEET, getting admission in government MBBS colleges is very tough because cutoffs are usually much higher. However, you may have a chance in some private medical colleges under state or All India Quota. Private colleges often accept lower marks but have higher fees. You can also explore related courses like BDS, BHMS, or BAMS, which may have lower cutoff marks. Keep checking official counseling websites for the latest seat availability and cutoff details.

With the score 460/470 is it possible admission in Deemed University in Karnataka/Maharashtra for MBBS in 2025?

Afreen 30th Jun, 2025

With a NEET score of 460/470, admission to Deemed Universities in Karnataka or Maharashtra for MBBS in 2025 is possible but potentially challenging, especially for general category students. While some deemed universities may have lower cutoffs, competition is high and depends on factors like the difficulty of the NEET exam, the number of applicants, and specific college cutoffs.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

NEET 2025 Cutoffs:

Deemed universities generally have higher cutoffs than government colleges due to their higher fees and management quotas.

General Category:

A score of 460-470 may be sufficient for some deemed universities, particularly those with slightly lower cutoffs or those participating in the MCC counseling for deemed universities.

Reserved Categories:

Students from reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) might have a slightly better chance with this score, as their cutoffs are generally lower.

College Specific Cutoffs:

Each deemed university sets its own cutoff, so it's important to research individual colleges and their past cutoff trends.

Competition:

Remember that the competition for MBBS seats in deemed universities is fierce, especially in states like Karnataka and Maharashtra.

Other Factors:

The difficulty of the NEET exam and the number of students appearing in that particular year can also affect the cutoff scores.

Recommendations:

1. Research:

Thoroughly research the cutoff trends of various deemed universities in Karnataka and Maharashtra for previous years.

2. Counseling:

Participate in the counseling process conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for deemed universities.

3. Backup Options:

Consider exploring alternative options like private medical colleges in both states or other relevant courses like BDS.

4. Repeat NEET (if needed):

If you are not satisfied with your score, consider repeating NEET to improve your chances in the future.

my expt score is 295 st category in neet 2025 can i get any mbbs or bds cource in odisha state counceling

Rajeswari 1st Jun, 2025

Hello,

With an expected score of 295 in NEET 2025 as an ST category candidate in Odisha, you have a good chance of getting a BDS seat but for MBBS the chances are minimal.

The expected cutoffs for government colleges in Odisha for ST candidates are around 380-400 marks. Therefore, with 295 marks, your chances of getting an MBBS seat in a government college are limited, but not impossible.

BDS courses in government colleges usually have lower cutoffs compared to MBBS.

Minimum marks required to get management quota seat for MBBS in ahmedabad

Afreen 28th May, 2025

To secure a management quota seat for MBBS in Ahmedabad, you generally need to qualify for NEET-UG and meet the minimum eligibility criteria, which includes a 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology in your 12th board exams (general category). Additionally, you must have passed each of these subjects individually. While specific cut-off marks for management quota seats can vary between colleges and years, a strong NEET-UG score is essential for securing admission.

Elaboration:

NEET-UG Qualification:

You must qualify for NEET-UG, the national entrance exam for medical admissions.

12th Board Marks:

General category candidates typically need a 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology in their 12th (or equivalent) exams. Reserved categories may have a lower minimum requirement.

Individual Subject Pass:

You need to have passed each of the core subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English) individually in your 12th board exams.

Management Quota:

Management quota seats are offered by private medical colleges and deemed universities, often at a higher fee structure than the regular quota.

Factors Affecting Cutoff:

The specific NEET-UG score required for a management quota seat in Ahmedabad can vary based on the college, the number of seats available, and the competition.

Counseling:

After qualifying for NEET-UG and meeting the eligibility criteria, you'll need to participate in the counseling process for admission.
