Hi Komal!
Thanks for reaching out,
Pursuing MBBS in private medical colleges in India is possible but can be quite costly. On average, the tuition fee ranges from 10 to 15 lakhs per year for most colleges outside the deemed university category.
In deemed universities, fees tend to be steeper ranging from 20 to 25 lakhs per year, and sometimes higher. Add hostel, mess, transport, and exame fees, and the total will reach 20–30 lakhs per year. If fee is a concern, look into scholarships, merit seats, or state-subsidized quotas. Many students afford MBBS with proper planning and financial aid.

Hello Nirmal,
With 352 marks in NEET 2025 and belonging to the SC category , getting an MBBS seat is possible but depends on the state and counseling . Key points:
Cutoffs vary by state and college.
For many government medical colleges , SC category cutoffs are lower than general.
In some states, 350+ marks for SC category may get a seat in government or private colleges.
You can also look for seats in private medical colleges through management quota or state counseling.
Participate in state counseling actively and keep an eye on round-wise seat allotments .
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.
Dear Aspirant,
With a NEET score of around 400 in the General Category, your chances of securing an MBBS seat in a government medical college are very low, as the cutoffs for government seats typically exceed 600. However, you still have a moderate chance of admission into private or deemed medical colleges in India through the management quota. States like Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra have private colleges where students with scores around 400 can secure seats, although the annual fees usually range between INR10 to INR 20 lakhs. Deemed universities such as Bharati Vidyapeeth (Pune), SRM (Chennai), Saveetha (Chennai), and D.Y. Patil (Pune/Navi Mumbai) also accept scores in this range through MCC counselling, particularly in the later rounds like Mop-Up or Stray Vacancy rounds. Admission into these institutions can cost INR18- INR25 lakhs or more annually.
