Your Class 12 marksheet is mandatory for MBBS admission counselling because eligibility for NEET UG is based on 10+2 (PCB Subject). Without it , you cannot complete the admission process. Since your original marksheet is deposited with your B.Sc. college , you need to arrange it properly before counselling
here is the detailed information :-
1.CBSE class 12th marksheet is compulsory for verification during MBBS admission counselling
2.You can either request your B.Sc. college to return the original marksheet or ask for a undertaking letter if they do not release it immediately
3.During counselling provisional allotment is given first. After seat allotment candidates are usually given a few days to submit all required documents.
4.If retrieving the original is difficult , you can apply for duplicate Class 12th marksheet from CBSE. This duplicate is valid and accepted for counselling/admission
Best option is to get back your original 12th marksheet from your B.Sc. college or if they are delaying then keep proof of application for a duplicate from CBSE and inform counselling authorities

Hi,
With a score of 500 in NEET 2025 under the EWS category, securing an MBBS seat in a semi-government medical college in Maharashtra is possible, but it depends on several factors such as the specific college, the number of applicants, and the cutoff trends for that year.
In 2024, the Maharashtra State Quota cutoff for MBBS in government medical colleges for the EWS category ranged between 561 and 616 marks. Given this, a score of 500 may be below the cutoff for government colleges but could still be considered for semi-government or private colleges, depending on the institution's specific criteria and the number of available seats.
It's essential to monitor the official counseling notifications from the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Maharashtra, for the most accurate and up-to-date information on seat availability and cutoff trends. with the score of 300 in NEET 2025 securing a government or semi government MBBS seat is highly unlikely. While 300 is a good score but it falls below the cutoff range typically required for these institutions.
Here is the reason :-
