I had scored 164 marks in NEET exam. Any possibility to get MBBS seat in state quota in second round. I belongs to sc catagory.

Anurag Khanna 26th Nov, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

On such marks you have no chance to get any of the college for MBBS under state quota because on such marks you have just qualified NEET 2020. So I would recommend you to either take a drop and prepare for NEET 2021 and to help you in your preparation we have some resources which you can access from the link given below :-

OR

You can try for direct admission provided that you must have appeared in NEET Counselling and unable to secure any seat through it.

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor because it will make you comfortable while choice filling in counselling :-

to apply for b cat mbbs seat in ap should I compulsory apply for a cat also??

Anurag Khanna 26th Nov, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

See if you want to apply for Government quota/A-category seats then you should have the domicile of Andhra Pradesh because A-Category seats are kept reserved for those aspirants who belongs to the state domicile where the institution is situated but if you belongs to some other state then you can only apply for B-category/Management quota seats under the state quota of Andhra Pradesh. If you belongs to Andhra Pradesh then also it is not mandatory to register for both the quota, instead you can register for either of the quota as well or for both.

For complete details about NEET Counselling in Andhra Pradesh kindly check out the link given below :-

can i get an mbbs seat in aniims with with neet category rank of 108182 in obc category? ? what is the last rank details of the college in the year 2019

Tarreni Behera 25th Nov, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

There is no way that you can get admission in Andaman and Nicobar Islands Institute of Medical Sciences. It is state government/public medical College and provides admission to students with a much better rank than what you have secured right now. It is so because the number of seats available for MBBS is only 100. Therefore, the number of seats pales in comparison to the number of applicants. I hope you understand the gravity of the situation that you are in right now.

The cutoff rank for OBC category students is close to 12500 in NEET and therefore, there is no way that you can get admission in this Institute. Even if you had SC or ST reservation, still you would not have able to get admission in this Institute. The fact is that your performance in NEET is extremely poor and such performance can not get you admission in a good government Medical College. Perhaps you can look for some good private institutes that may offer admission to students of your rank. Before, joining any of the Institutes, you should compare them against each other to know by yourself which is the better college for you to pursue graduation in Medicine. In order to compare colleges, all you need to do is to just click on this URL:-

This great comparison tool and shall be able to answer your queries in relevant aspects related to college admission. It compares colleges based on their merits and demerits. I hope you get admission in a good college. Good luck.

can i resign to mbbs seat alloted in second round councelling under AI QUOTA?

Abir Gayen 25th Nov, 2020

Hi Aspirant,

There are certain rules and restrictions that you should follow during counselling of seats.Once you have locked your choices the seats alloted to you is completely upon the rank scored by you.If you fail to get seat in any round then you may get seat in next round. You cannot quit in between. For example, you get a college in second round then either you have to lock your seat there or wait for the third round for some better or equivalent colleges. So there are two options to select. If you fail to lock the seat or fail to continue upgradation then your application will be considered null for that year.

So be patience and hope for the best!!

I secured 341 marks in neet 2020 from Maharashtra will I get government mbbs seat in state quota I belongs to obc ( NT-3)

Sowmya Konkala 24th Nov, 2020

Hello aspirant,

As of now it's tough to say which college you can get because the cutoff changes every year with college and this year the cutoff went high and also few seats have increased.but with previous year analysis and your rank we can find you possibilities into the colleges.with your score you have no chances of fetching a seat in government medical colleges.you need minimum of 450-500+to fetch a seat for your cat.you have good chances to fetch seat in bds government remember that this year the cutoff increased by 30-40 marks more than last year.so the seat matrix also changes.for furthur info check the link: https://www.google.com/amp/s/medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-maharashtra/amp
