Kindly note you have less chances for government college, but have decent chances for governemnt seat in private college. To know more, visit here:

Thankyou
If you fall under the general category then it seems difficult to get an admission through both the AIQ and the state quota. The reservation cutoffs are different also the cutoff do vary every year and it depends upon the number of candidates appearing for the exam, the difficulty level of the question paper, total seats available.
You may refer to the following link for the citoffs of previous year for better understanding:

Dear candidate
Yes you can get seat through open category if you are candidate of reserved category also. You should just apply your COUNSELING through the general category. General category is also known as open category. The students who take admission under this category can belong to any caste and they are awarded only on the basis of merit. So, not only general castes, but OBC SC ST students, if they get good ranks can take seat under General category. You category seat will be awarded to same category students only. Sometimes a candidate loose their caste certificate so they apply through general category and they can also get seat same seat through the general category. But from my suggestion you should apply through your respective category because you will took a seat of open category and you will offer a seat in your category which cut-off are usually low. So a genuine open category students may loose seat to a less merit student in your category.

Hello Aspirant,
See if you have been allotted a seat in Round 1 of AIQ counselling which has been conducted by DGHS on the behalf of MCC then also you are eligible for further rounds of AIQ counselling. Now in your case if you have joined the allotted seat of BDS so that seat is kept reserved for you and if you would be allotted another seat for MBBS in further rounds of AIQ counselling and if you would accept it then your current seat will automatically be cancelled and the paid amount will be refunded to you within few days.

Dear Aspirant,
There are like 1550 seats available in Andhra Pradesh state for MBBS in the 10 government Medical Colleges of the state combined. The government Medical Colleges have a very limited number of seats and hence getting admission in one of these Institutes is extremely difficult for any candidate. The number of seats are so limited that it pales in comparison to the number of applicants.
Your chances of getting a mbbs seat through the 85% state quota is kinda mediocre and it solely depends on the reservation Category that you belong to which is BC-A Category. The cutoff for these Institutes is quite good and only the best rank holders of the state can achieve admission in these institutions.
The cutoff ( in terms of NEET rank):-
1) Andhra Medical College:- 973
2) Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada - 5900
3) Rajiv Institute of Medical Sciences, Srikakulam- 12000
4) Guntur Medical College- 1445
5) Rajiv Institute of Medical Sciences, Ongole :- 14000
These are the cutoff ranks for the government institutes of the state for the general category students. For the reservation students, there would be more relaxation in the cutoff ranks.
