BL Harika ,I got 530 marks neet2020, AP rank2590,BC-D ,can I get MBBS seat in Telangana ? Govt or private,

S. Saha Student Expert 18th Nov, 2020
Going by last year's cutoffs, you have good chances to get a government Medical college through state counselling such as
  • ESIC Medical College
  • GMC Siddipet
  • GMC Mahabubnagar
  • GMC Nalgonda
  • GMC Suryapet
  • GMC Nizamabad
Etc. And government quota seats in private Medical colleges as well.
But keep in mind that these are based on last year's data and this year the cutoffs can change. To get complete list of all colleges you can get based on your rank use this link http://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

if I am got exact 401 marks in neet exam 2021. I am kanada medium and rural reservation category obc maharastra bondry, karnatak. can I get mbbs seat in government medical college? please answer and which colleges are there in my cut off please give answer only student experts

Anurag Khanna 27th Dec, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

See the data which you have mentioned shows that you belongs to Karnataka state but you have some reservations such as OBC, rural quota and note that Maharashtra boundary region not comes under any kind of reservation instead there is reservation for Hyd-Kar region. So according to the question you have advantage of only two reservation categories that are OBC and rural quota.

According to the marks mentioned by you in the question your rank is expected to be in the range of 121183-130881, you can check out marks Vs ranks from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank

So on such rank and category reservations you have very low chances of getting government MBBS seat in any government medical colleges in Karnataka instead of that you can get private seats for MBBS under state quota according to this year's cut-off till Round 2 because till now the closing rank for the category which you have mentioned in the question is 100934. But yes as we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that you can get some Government BDS seats in following colleges :-

  • PM Nadagowda Memorial Dental College and Hospital, Bagalkot
  • Sri Jagadguru Murugharajendra Dental College & Hospital, Chitradurga

And some more. You can check out the latest cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-karnataka

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor because it will make you comfortable while choice filling in counselling :-

My Bihar state rank is 3500 and I am from general category. Is there any chance to get a MBBS seat till Mop-up round?

Zeenat Saba 17th Nov, 2020

Hii,

Every year the admission in government college differ according to the cutoff and the difficulty level of the exam and also on the total number of candidates appeared in the exam.

According to your score it is very difficult to get admission in any medical courses.

Because the cutoff of general Category is relatively high as compared to other categories.

But yes you can try till mop up round and apply in private college also from management quota

in 2 round can anyone get mbbs seat in RML delhi obc state quota at 13500 rank bc in 1 round last cut off is 12638 rank in obc

Shivam Khare 17th Nov, 2020

Hello Dear Student,

It depends on various factors like:

1. Number of Vacant Seats for Round 2 in RML Delhi.

2. How Many Candidates are ahead of you from the same Category.

3. Choice filling or Preference Order of these Candidates.

So first you should wait for the Seat Matrix of RML for Round 2, it will be available soon on the MCC website.

Chances are Tough but if you are interested in RML then you can try for RML by filling it on Top order during your choice filling of Round 2.

All the Best

I am from Maharashtra. I had taken 401 marks in neet 2020 . I belongs from OBC Catagery. my father was retire army. now in police. can I get mbbs seat in government or private college

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 17th Nov, 2020

There is a reservation of approximately 1-3% for Ex-service personnel. But even with that reservation, 401 is tad less. You might get a Government Quota seat in a Private Dental College but MBBS is tad difficult. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Hello Aspirant,

See on such marks and category you have good chances of getting Christian Medical College, Vellore according to previous year's cut-off. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that last year the lowest cut-off marks was 465 for Christian Medical College, Vellore under state quota for General category and as you belongs to Christian minority  so there are higher chances for you to get seat in it.

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-
