can I leave mbbs seat after free exit of round 1

Shivam Khare 16th Nov, 2020

Hello Dear Student,

Round 1 is Free Exit in both All India Counselling and State Counselling.

Roun 2 is not Free Exit but Option of Exit with Forfeiture of Security Money is available in Round 2 in Both All India Counselling and State Counselling.

You can freely leave allotted seat of Round 1 Counselling but in Round 2 there are some Conditions, if you got any Seat in Round 2 then you have to decide within 2 days that you want to take that seat or not, if not then you can take exit with Forfeiture of Security Money but after 2 days Exit is not allowed in anyway, you have to join allotted College of Round 2. You will not be eligible for further Counselling processes, not even for state Counselling.

will i get pure gt.mbbs seat in tamilnadu for 550 marks in neet and 1699 bc rank

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 16th Nov, 2020

Compared to 2019, the NEET 2020 cut offs have changed considerably higher than expected. With the top score being 720 which is 19 marks greater than 2019's top score, it is difficult to predict chances. But based on the analysis of the experts, on the and going by previous years data, with this score a few Colleges that you may have a shot at, you have a chance in:

  • ESIC Medical College, K.K. Nagar
  • Government Karur Medical College
  • Government Medical College, Omandurar
  • Government Mohan Kumarmangalam Medical College
  • Government Medical College and Hospital

Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. For a complete list of colleges that you may have a shot at, please use our College predictor: https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer . my u.p. state rank in NEET is 2271 and i am obc candidate,, can i get any mbbs seat in any govt. College in u.p.

S. Saha Student Expert 14th Nov, 2020
State rank depends on the number of candidates appeared and qualified Neet from Uttar Pradesh. We need your all India rank to predict any college for you as the last year's cutoffs are all given in all India Rank format. So it would be difficult to predict any college with State rank. So please help us with your All India rank. But keep in mind that these are based on last year's data and this year the cutoffs can change.
