is there any chance to get mbbs seat in all in quote of neet with 50000 rank?Im from ap

Shivam Khare 30th Oct, 2020

Hello Dear Student,

If you belong to General Category then at this Rank it is not possible to secure a MBBS Seat in a Govt Medical College under All India 15% Quota Counselling by MCC, However at this rank you can secure a MBBS seat in a Deemed University under All India Quota Counselling, but fee structure is very high in deemed universities that is 10 lakh rupees to 25 lakh rupees per year.

I will advise you to participate in upcoming M.P State Counselling for better chances. Even in M.P State counselling chances are low for Government Medical College on your Rank but if you are interested in Private Medical College then you will get a MBBS seat in a private college for sure, Fee is low in state private medical colleges as compared to Deemed Universities.

akashkumarpati.2000 30th Oct, 2020

Hey Aspirant,

As we all know that Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada hasn't relesed the official cut-off details for top and eminent Government and private MBBS instituions till now, so I would like to recommend you to follow the previous year's (2019) details in this regard.

After comparing your marks with 2019's information and after clearly analysing the fact that the cut-off marks is expected to be increased in this year depending upon the increasing of several important factors responsible for determining of the cut-off details, it'll be perfectly clear for you also that despite being BC-E candidate it's just impossible for you to get admission in any of the top Government MBBS colleges in Andhra Pradesh with this marks. But if the financial condition of your family to quite good to afford 35-40 lakhs in next 5 years, then you can try for top private MBBS colleges. Now I'm providing you a list of those private Medical colleges which are enough suitable as per your obtained marks in both AU and SVU region (as you don't have mentioned your particular residential region, so I'm giving the details for both):

  • Great Eastern Medical School, Srikakulam
  • GSL Medical College, Rajahmundry
  • Katuri Medical College, Chinakondrupadu
  • Konaseema Inst., of Medical Sciences, Amalapuram
  • Maharaja Inst. of Medical Sciences, Vizianagaram
  • Nimra Institute of Medical Sciences, Ibrahimpatnam
  • PES Inst., of Medical Sciences, Kuppam
  • Santiram Medical College, Nandyal
  • Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Murukambattu (V), Chittoor District
  • Fathima Institute of Medical Sciences, Kadapa (Muslim)

You should go through the following Careers360 article to get detailed-oriented conception regarding this:

Sir,MY RANK 57470,& SCORE 538.. CATAGORY UR..MAY I GET an MBBS seat in AIQ..WHICH COLLEGES I WILL APPLIY ??

pdwords Student Expert 29th Oct, 2020

Hello,

As per previous year data through AIQ for General Category, chances are tough for GMC the reason being the last year the cut-offs has been largely above 580-590 marks (except Koppal Institute of Medical Sciences for which cut-off was 409 marks), even for government dental colleges last year cut-offs was above 560 marks, from your profile it seems you belong to West Bengal, last year under state quota 518 marks with corresponding all india rank of  39200 secured a seat in Cooch Behar Government Medical College and Hospital, while is case of government dental college 497 marks with corresponding all india rank of 51038 secured a seat in North Bengal Dental College, this year there are greater chances of cut-offs increasing as the entire marks vs ranks have gone through a drastic shift with an increase of 30-40 marks,  you should explore other options of private colleges or deemed universities, you may also get government seat in private dental colleges under state quota such as  Guru Nanak Institute of Dental Sciences and Research, Haldia Institute of Dental Sciences and Research, Kusum Devi Sundarlal Dugar Jain Dental College and Hospital etc.

Cutoffs vary every year based on multiple factors such as seat matrix, marks obtained in exam, toughness level of paper, total number of candidates participating in the exam etc.

If I got AIQ round 2 mbbs seat I report in this college. in state quota 2 nd round I got a seat. can i leave the AIQ seat?

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 28th Oct, 2020

Hey!

As per the counselling rules , a candidate who has allotted the seat in round 2 of counselling can exit with forfeiture (losing security amount deposited) within the given time period. But if you leave the seat after joining then, you would not be permitted to sit for next rounds of counselling, neither for state quota counselling. To know more, visit here:
