I am from Telangana and got 349 marks in NEET and shall i get MBBS seat in 2021

Kuheli Sanyal 16th Oct, 2021

Hey,

Nothing fixed can be said until NEET 2021 results come out. Cut offs and ranks are subject to change every year depending on the difficulty level of the paper, the performance of the students and the number of seats available.

Having said that, based on previous year data with 349 marks you may get a rank between 273287-286921. You can also predict your rank using NEET Rank Predictor https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor

Since you did not mention your category, I am assuming you are from general category.

You can get management quota seats in private medical colleges through Telangana State Counselling -

  • Ayaan Institute of Medical Sciences
  • Shadan Institute of Medical Sciences

To get a complete list of colleges in which you can get MBBS/BDS seat, you can use NEET College Predictor https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor

I have 444 Marks in Neet 2021 AIR--1,40,082,,NT-2 Category Is there any chance for MBBS seat in Government or Private medical college in Maharashtra ?

samruddhiphadatare01 24th Nov, 2021

Hello,

It'll be difficult to get any government seats as the cutoff is very high for the one. The cutoff of private institutes is above 500 for most of the colleges in Maharashtra for your category. But cutoff changes each year so you can try for private colleges.

You can try for BDS private institutes. As you have chances of getting into one.

sir i got 466 marks in neet 2021 , my AIR rank -116973 ,obc-ncl rank -51854 is there any chance to get mbbs seat in any govn medical college, plzz help me out

Kashish Saxena 24th Nov, 2021

Hello aspirant,

According to previous year cutoffs trend, it will be very difficult for you to get government college for MBBS or BDS in your category in Uttar Pradesh. However you can get admission in private medical colleges easily both in your state and others.

But remember that cutoffs changes every year due to various factors such as number of students attempted exam and number of students participated in counselling, difficulty level of exam, reservations and more. So nothing can be predicted with certainty until the official announcement of cutoff. Some private medical colleges for your consideration are as follows:

  • School of Medical Sciences and Research, Greater Noida
  • Rohilkhand Medical College, Bareilly
  • Subharti Medical College, Meerut
  • Hind Institute of Medical Sciences, Barabanki

For more college options at your score you can use our NEET UG college predictor tool too which provides you elaborate information regarding suitable colleges:

I scored 446 in NEET-21 rank-137252 can I get govt mbbs seat in karnataka if iam from telanagana through state quota? My mother language is KANNADA

Kashish Saxena 24th Nov, 2021

Hello aspirant,

There are mainly two ways if you want to have admission in government medical colleges of Karnataka- either through state quota or through All India quota. But as you are from Telangana you are only eligible for All India quota for government colleges of Karnataka. And at your score it will be difficult for you to get admission in government college of any state through All India quota counselling.

In Karnataka you can take admission in private dental colleges via open category. As Karnataka allows other states' students to take admission in private medical colleges. So you can get seat in some private medical colleges both in your state and other such as:

  • M V J Medical College, Banglore
  • A J Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalore
  • S D M college of Medical Sciences, Dharwad
  • Navodaya Medical College, Raichur
  • Ayaan Institute of Medical Sciences

But remember that cutoffs changes every year due to various factors such as number of students attempted exam and number of students participated in counselling, difficulty level of exam, reservations and more. So nothing can be predicted with certainty until the official announcement of cutoff. For more college options at your score you can use our NEET UG college predictor tool too which provides you elaborate information regarding the suitable colleges:

For getting government seat for mbbs you need to score around 600.
As the number of students appeared in neet exam is highest in Maharashtra and uttar pradesh . Therefore the cutoff of following state remains high.
