Hello aspirant
During first round of AIQ counseling or state counselling, it's easy to go for upgrade and exit also but once you enter into second round then process get little bit tough and then you have to make decisions otherwise you will have chance to loose security deposit.
If you get a seat in first round of AIQ counseling then go report the college allotted and ask for upgrade options. So by doing this your seat will get fully secured and you will not loose that college even if you didn't upgrade. In the mean time you can participate in state counselling,so if you have good marks then there also you may get allotted a college,if it is of your choice complete the addmission process. After completing this you must surrender your AIQ seats before the time given to you otherwise if you once enter in second round of AIQ,there is no free exit, you will left with two options either you take admission in allotted/upgraded college in round two or you forfeit your security deposit money.
You can also participate in second round AIQ without reporting the college also if you do that you will not have secured seats and you may get same college/ upgraded college or you may loose seat also but there's a profit that you will not have to run here and there for taking addmission and then surrender.
So that's why I will suggest check the previous year cut off for your desired college in both AIQ counseling and State counselling, according to that do your counselling. So that you get the college you deserve also and you don't loose money.
There is different counselling for both AIQ and state so check that also and work accordingly.
You can use NEET UG college predictor tool for knowing chances of getting MBBS BDS ayush colleges at your expected marks. It's very helpful during counselling process as it provides you personalized list of colleges at your expected marks.
Hope this answers help you to the best
Good luck !!
Hello,
NEET 2021 results have been declared by the National Testing Agency NTA.
To predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every depending upon several factors such as-
• Number of applicants in NEET exam
• NEET question paper difficulty level
• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result
• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2021
NEET 2021 Cut-off goes like :-
• General /EWS- 50th percentile
• SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile
• General-PwD - 45th percentile
• SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile
Marks wise cut off is as following-
• General - 720-138
• OBC/SC/ST - 137-108
• Gen PwD - 137-122
• (OBC /SC / ST ) PwD - 121-108
Though it was expected that due to higher difficulty level of examination cut-off for colleges will decrease, but it turns out students have performed exceptionally well and the cut offs have increased compared to last year.
See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year.
Since you haven't mentioned your category I would consider you as a general category candidate. Also from your profile it is evident that you are from West Bengal.
Now with your marks it would be very difficult for you to get MBBS seat in government medical colleges. But you can Management seat in following colleges-
• Gouri Devi Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital, Durgapur
• ICARE Institute of Medical Science and Research and Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy Hospital, Haldia
• IQ City Medical College and Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, Durgapur
• Jagannath Gupta Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital, Kolkata
• Shri Ramkrishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Durgapur

Hi
I'm assuming that you are from general category
Your profile suggests that your domicile state is Karnataka
It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get seat or not as cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like
********** number of students that appeared in the exam,
********** kind of marks obtained by them ,
********** toughness level of the examination,
********** number of seats available etc.
But ,
As per previous trend ,
>>>>>> with 522 marks
Yes, you hold a decent chance to get a Government Medical College for mbbs
For example,
In neet 2019 , 443 marks for general category got mbbs seat in a government medical college under Karnataka state quota and it was for ESI Medical College, Bangalore

Hello Harshit,
Well based on your marks I'm assuming your percentile would be around 70 .
And since you've a docimicle of Uttar Pradesh so for getting an MBBS seat at Rajarajeshwari Medical College, Banglore you're required to score an equivalent to at least 50th percentile to be considered for All India Quota ( AIQ ).
This means you must obtain a score around 720-205 for getting va seat there. So you do have a chance at RRMCH.
The intake capacity at RRMCH for MBBS is 250-150 and the college has a well experienced teaching staff that teach in English. Its total fees is something around Rs . 4,86,750 .
Now here I'm listing a few low cost MBBS colleges across India-

Hi Aspirant,
Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you as you have not mentioned about the name of the category that is general ,OBC ,EWS,SC and ST you belong so nothing can be said so you are requested to share the required category name then only the desired information can be shared with you.
Hope you found this answer useful. Stay motivated stay positive.
All the best!
Hello sir ,
Hope you are doing well . With a marks of 454 I assume your son's AIR to be somewhat between 1 lakh 25K to 1lakh 35K . As it's difficult to tell the exact cut-offs unless the respective All India counselling and State Counselling results are announced,we can only predict a probability based on last year's cut-offs .In UP the NEET 2020 state cut-off marks for SC category was 457 which closed at an AIR of 124567. Seeing this ,it seems you are on borderline and can wait for the state counselling in UP to commence.
As for your second question, through AIQ you atleast needed a rank of 80K for SC category to secure a government MBBS seat .
You can try for other courses like MBBS from private , management quota,BDS,Ayush too. To know your chances into different colleges you can visit the link provided below where you will get all the details of the college of your preference :
