Can I get a government MBBS seat in Uttar Pradesh if I get 593 marks in NEET UG 2021 exam?

Ayush Roy 25th Sep, 2021

Hello Kavya. You mentioned your expected NEET NTA Score is 593 out of 720 and I assume you belong to General category, as you haven't mention anything about your caste. Based on your marks, your overall percentile may end up somewhere around 98.08 - 98.58 while your corresponding AIR may lie within the range of 26676 - 37826 .

If you follow 2019 NEET UG Cutoff, you have good chances to grab a seat for MBBS at few Government medical colleges. But if you follow 2020 NEET UG Cutoff, you have low chance to secure a seat at Government institutes . So, each year cutoff varies significantly in your state , Uttar Pradesh so its sort of hard to predict the exact institutes where you may get opportunity.

However, as this year's NEET UG question was a bit tricky, I assume cutoff scores in UP will be decreased a bit. In that case, you may get chance to contest for a seat for MBBS at:

  1. Sarojini Naidu Medical College, Agra
  2. Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College, Meerut (may get)
  3. Maharani Laxmibai Medical College, Jhansi
  4. B. Raghavdas Medical College, Gorakhpur
  5. Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences, Saifai, Etawah.
  6. Govt. Medical College, Badaun
  7. Autonomous Medical College, Ayodhya
  8. Autonomous Medical College, Basti
  9. Autonomous Medical College, Bahraich
  10. Autonomous Medical College, Shahjahanpur

and few more...

can I get mbbs seat abroad with 87 marks in neet . Im SC caste

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 24th Sep, 2021

Hi

>>>>>>> With 87 marks,

Your chances of getting any medical/dental college be it government or private in India or even admission in abroad is extremely low .

This is because,

In order to be eligible for getting admission in MBBS BDS etc in India or even in abroad   you must qualify Neet examination but with your marks, your chances of qualifying neet is low.

Neet qualifying cutoff percentile remains same every year which is provided below category wise:-

----------) General category :- 50 percentile

----------) OBC/ SC /ST :- 40 percentile

----------) UR- Ph :- 45 percentile

When it comes to  qualifying cut off marks then

This is very difficult to predict neet 2021 cut off as cut off marks keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like :-

----------) number of students that appeared in the exam,

----------) kind of marks obtained by them ,

----------) toughness  level of the examination etc.

But yes,

Cut off marks will be more or less similar to previous years and when we go through past year qualifying cut off trends then last 3 years qualifying cut off data is given below for reference :-

.                 .  Year wise cut off marks

Category     2020             2019          2018

General   720-147        701-134      691-119

UR-PH     146-129         133-120      118-107

Obc/sc/st  146-113     133-107       118 - 96

So,   for neet 2020 an sc category student required at least 113 marks to qualify neet 2020 .   So, with 87 marks your chances of qualifying neet 2021 is  low   .

Still you need to wait for neet 2021 results.

For detailed information, visit

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cut-off

After results, if you fail to qualify  then you can't get admission even in abroad and I would suggest you to prepare again for Neet examination and don't worry we have Neet knockout program which will help you at every step of your preparation , the link for the same is given below

Hello Aspirant,

It is quite difficult to make any accurate prediction of your admission chances in any particular college because the cut-off keeps on changing every year depending upon various factors such as :-

*** number of candidates appeared in NEET 2021

*** difficulty level of the paper

*** top score for NEET 2021

*** total number of seats available for admission and so on.

But we can help you on the basis of previous years cut-offs, by analyzing data of previous years we can guide you upto some sort of your admission chances in the mentioned colleges .

So if we go through previous years cut-offs then according to that, you have decent chances of getting both the mentioned colleges, on such marks and category . Because as we go through previous years cut-off data then it shows that the closing cut-off marks were around 510-530 for the mentioned colleges under state quota of Telangana.

Hi. I am from Telanagana. I got an AIR of 27353 and marks 582 In NEET 2021. I have a reservation of BCE . Any chances of me getting an MBBS seat in Osmania Medical College ? Please help!

ayanmukherjee045 3rd Nov, 2021

Dear aspirant,

As you have mentioned that you have secured 27k rank in neet 2021 and taking into consideration that you have the benefit of reservation so let me tell for Osmania you have good chances to get a seat there.

Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs, and difficulty level of the paper.
