i have calculated my neet 2021 marks and iam getting 410 can I get mbbs seat in Karnataka in a government college and i belong to obc

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 21st Sep, 2021

Hi

Your profile suggests that your domicile state is karnataka.

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like

********** number of students that appeared in the exam,

********** kind of marks obtained by them ,

********** toughness level of the examination,

**********  number of seats available etc.

But yes,

When we go through previous year trend

>>>>>>> with 410 marks

you hold a low chance to get a Government Medical College for mbbs

For example,

In neet 2019 , 426 marks for obc  was cut off / lowest marks to get mbbs seat in a government medical college  under Karnataka state quota and it was for Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences, MADIKERI

You can check the same at

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-karnataka/amp

You have chances in deemed universities for mbbs which are listed below along with their neet 2020 , 2nd round cut off :-

----------) B.L.D.E University, Bijapur:- 387 marks

----------) MGM Medical College, Navi Mumbai:- 380 marks

----------) Institute of Medical Sciences and SUMH, Bhubaneswar:-360 marks

----------) Sri Siddhartha Medical College DU, T Begur:- 328 marks

----------) BVDU Medical College and Hospital, Sangli:- 311 marks

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but  cutoff keeps every year changing depending upon many factors as mentioned earlier, so to have a clear picture of the college in which you have chances and

to get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

It gives you a personalized report with top college in which you have chances for admission , with the help of predicted colleges you can make better choice while filling your choices of colleges during your counselling

sir/madam, I got 450 marks in neet ug 2021, is there a chance for me to get mbbs seat in any government colleges in karnataka, chennai, and andhra pradesh.

Tina 21st Sep, 2021

Hi Aspirant,

Hope you are safe and doing good

First of all, congratulations, you've done really well! 450 seems like a decent score. If the cutoff goes down, then you might be able to secure a seat at a govt college, but a private college is almost sure. However a seat through AI quota seems a bit difficult!

You will either get Deemed University or Private College. With the score of 500 you can get the Best Deemed University and Best Private Medical College.

Note: This answer is given as if you are from General category or OBC.

If you are from SC / ST category than you will get the good government medical colleges.

Hope this helps, Good luck

how many marks to get mbbs seat for ews category

Bhavesh gupta 10th Aug, 2021

Hi Aspirant,

Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you there is no fixed marks cutoff totally depends upon the level of paper if paper is easy then cutoff is very high and if paper is hard then cutoff goes down gradually. So you should mainly focus on achieving high marks in the N.E.E.T entrance examination.

Hope you found this answer useful.Stay motivated stay positive.

Im a sc student.i got 133 marks in neet ,is there any chances to get mbbs seat in government college

Tina 19th Sep, 2021

Hi, Hope you are safe and doing good

As you have mentioned that your neet score is 133 marks and you fall under sc category. So, if we look this scenario your chances to get a seat in private or government medical colleges is negligible.

Your marks may nit fetch a seat under 85% home state quota nor under 15% All India Quota.
Hope this helps, All the best!

how can I got a mbbs seat 8n sum medical College Bhubaneswar odisha

MANISHA ROKA 19th Sep, 2021

Hey Aspirant!

Your choice of college is great. SUM has great infrastructure, highly experienced faculties and offers a huge patient-exposure. It has an annual intake of 150 students for the MBBS programme.

For getting admission in SUM you must qualify your NEET-UG with a decent rank, must have a minimum aggregate of 50% in PCB and must have English as a compulsory subject.

IF you're from General category then you can expect your NEET cutoff around 715-145.

For predicting your rank and college you should definitely check out the links below-

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 19th Sep, 2021

Hi

Your profile suggests that your domicile state is Telangana.

I am assuming you from general category.

It is difficult to make prediction as cut off keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like

  • number of students that appeared in the neet examination,

  • kind of marks obtained by students  in neet ,

  • toughness level of the neet examination,

  • number of seats available etc.

But when we go through previous data then

>>>>>>> with 569 marks

You hold a low chance to get mbbs seat in OSMANIA MEDICAL COLLEGE, HYDERABAD

For example,

in neet  2019, 592 marks for general category was the lowest marks to get mbbs seat in OSMANIA MEDICAL COLLEGE, HYDERABAD under Telangana state quota

You can check the same at

But yes

You have chances in following govt colleges for mbbs under Telangana state quota :-

------) GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE, SURYAPET

------) GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE, NALGONDA

And a few more

Above prediction is on the basis of past year data but  cutoff keeps changing every year  due to   many factors as mentioned earlier, so to have a clear picture of the colleges in   which you have to chances and

sir/mam i m getting 562 marks and i m from uttar pradesh and general category can i get mbbs seat in government medical clg and i m also a girl and this year some medical clgs are also included in our state so plss suggest me

riteshkandpal499 19th Sep, 2021
Hello aspirant
Hope you are doing well
It is difficult to predict the cut off marks or ranks but according to previous year trends your expected rank would lie between 46778 - 56928  but it may vary every year depending on the following factors
1. Level of question paper
2. Total no of candidates
3. Category of candidate
4. Total no of seats
5. Marks obtained by students
Here is the link for the rank predictor.
https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor

So as a general category candidate according to previous years the cutoff marks for government college in up colleges are as follows :
1. Autonomous State Medical College, Basti - 611 marks
2. Government Medical College, Badaun -614
3. Government Medical College, Jalaun - 618
4. King George's Medical University, Lucknow- 657
And 611 is the last cut off marks for general category And it was state medical College, Basti

So you have less chances to get seat in government mbbs medical colleges. But you can go for bds or Pvt college
Here you can check the previous year cut off marks
https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-up
You can use college predictor tool to know about the colleges you can get

I got 390 marks in neet 2021 will I get a mbbs seat in all india quota? Im belonging to bc-b. Will u please suggest some colleges??

ANKITA SONI 19th Sep, 2021

Hello Buddy! Hope you're doing good.

With 390 marks your expected percentile will be approximately 86.52 - 87.02 and your expected rank will be in range of 207002 - 247152 (General Candidate). Although it is expected rank, actual rank may differ from it. As you belong to OBC category, with this rank your chances of getting admission through all India quota are high. For getting your possibility of admission in colleges you can use the NEET College Predictor tool given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp

Hope this will help you.

my estimated neet marks are 470 . can i get all india quota in telangnna state mbbs seat

riteshkandpal499 18th Sep, 2021
Hello aspirant
Hope you are doing well
It is difficult to predict the cut off marks or ranks but according to previous year trends your expected rank would lie between 129006 - 161156but it may vary every year depending on the following factors
1. Level of question paper
2. Total no of candidates
3. Category of candidate
4. Total no of seats
5. Marks obtained by students
Here is the link for the expected marks vs ranks
https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor
As you have not mentioned your category so assuming that you belong to general category so cut of marks is more than 500 so your score should be more than 550 for safer side if you are from general category
Further you can use college predictor tool to know about the college you can get.
