in central pool quota . which states are appicable for mbbs seat and private or governament.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 17th Aug, 2021
Hi

Central pool quota  is nothing but 15 % all India quota seats in neet, through which 15 % of seats in state government colleges are reserved for all India counselling.

All the states contribute in 15% all India quota seats, except Jammu and Kashmir.

Only government colleges participate in 15% all india quota seats, admission in private medical colleges is through state counselling.

To help you further,
Here's a brief of neet counselling.

There are 2 counselling under which a seat is provided in a Medical College through Neet examination

----)All India counselling by mcc /dghs:- it is conducted by DGHS on behalf of MCC. It is done for

*15% AIQ seats :- All the neet qualified students are eligible for 15% all India quota except for Jammu and Kashmir candidates as Jammu and Kashmir doesn't participate in all India counselling . If jammu and Kashmir students wants to participate in all india counselling then they will have to fill self declaration while filling the neet application formafter which they won't be eligible for Jammu and Kashmir state quota seats /counselling.

*100% Deemed Universities,

*Central Universities (Delhi University, AMU & BHU including Institutional/ DomicileQuota),

*100% ESIC, AFMC (only Registration Part) & I.P University (VMMC & SJHAND ABVIMS & RML & ESIC Dental, Delhi (15% AIQ + 85% Institutional Quota )

*100% AIIMS & 100% JIPMER Seats

---)85 % state quota counselling :- it is conducted by respective states. Only students who are domicile of that state are eligibile. You know the domicile criteria of different states to be eligible for state quota by going through the link given below :-

Kuheli Sanyal 23rd Sep, 2021

Hey,

Based on previous year data, with 360 marks you may get a rank between 258281- 271762. You can also predict your rank using NEET Rank Predictor https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_rp

You cannot get government medical colleges through any state counseling when you don't have that particular states domicile. You can get management quota seats being a non local. You can also get management quota medical seats through All India Counseling for Deemed Universities. Some of the colleges in which you can get a seat are -

  • JLN Medical College Datta Meghe Wardha
  • Dr DY Patil Medical College Pune
  • Santosh Medical College Ghaziabad

To get a complete list of colleges in which you can get Mbbs/Bds seat, you can use NEET College Predictor https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp

It is important to know that the above predictions are based on previous year data and cut offs and ranks vary every year depending on the difficulty level of the paper, the performance of the students and the number of seats available.

can iget mbbs seat with 330 marks in neet gen EWS 2021

Ayush Roy 23rd Sep, 2021

Hello Aspirant. You mentioned you belong to GEN-EWS category and your expected marks is 330 out of 720. Based on your marks, your overall percentile may lie somewhere around 79.43 - 80.03 while your AIR may lie within the range of 316006 - 386156 considering the difficulty of the paper to be moderate.

Based on your expected marks, it is less likely for you to get chance at any Public/Government medical institutes and top-rated private institutes via All India Counselling. However, if you are lucky enough, there is slight possibility for you to get admission to MBBS at few private medical institutes although the amount of fees is much higher than other top-rated private colleges, namely:

  1. Meenakshi Medical College Hospital and Research Institute, Kanchipuram (2019 Cutoff - 397606)
  2. ACS Medical College and Hospital, Chennai (2019 Cutoff - 411173)
  3. Padmashree Dr. D.Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Navi Mumbai (2019 Cutoff - 419888)
  4. Sree Balaji Medical College and Hospital, Chennai (2019 Cutoff - 420087)

Your chances to grab a seat for BDS at top-rated Government or Private medical institutes are narrow . However, you may get chance at the following Private BDS institutes:

  1. KLE Vishwanath Katti Institute of Dental Sciences, Belgaum (2019 Cutoff - 466829)
  2. Amrita School Of Dentistry (2019 Cutoff - 489378)
  3. Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore (2019 Cutoff - 472025 )
  4. Vinayaka Missions Sankarachariyar Dental College (2019 Cutoff - 502356 )
  5. BVDU Dental College And Hospital, Navi Mumbai (2019 Cutoff - 520322 )
  6. Dr. D. Y. Patil Dental College and Hospital (2019 Cutoff - 554436 )

and few others...

All I can say is, if your expected marks becomes your actual mark,  your performance is not up to the par to get admission to any top-rated Government or Private Medical Colleges.

I got 442 marks neet can iget govt college MBBS seat in karnataka

riteshkandpal499 21st Sep, 2021
Hello aspirant
Hope you are doing well
It is difficult to predict the cut off marks or ranks but according to previous year trends your expected rank would lie between 160070 - 192220 but it may vary every year depending on the following factors
1. Level of question paper
2. Total no of candidates
3. Category of candidate
4. Total no of seats
5. Marks obtained by students
You have not mentioned your category so assuming that you belong to general category .
Here is the link for the expected ranks
https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor
So according to previous year trends in year 2019 the last cut off for govt colleges for general category was 422 marks and it was for Srinivasa Institute of Medical Research Center, Mangalore
You can check previous year cut off from the link given below
https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff -karnataka
You can use college predictor tool to know about the colleges you can get
