The duration of the MCA degree course is three years, which is divided into six semesters. But students who holds a degree in Bachelor in Computer Application (BCA), Bachelor of Science (B Sc) the MCA course duration is two years ..

Your rank is too much high than the availability of the seats in the both campus of Vellore (Chennai and Bhopal Campus) for MCA. There are only near about 270 seats are available for MCA and you will secured rank 2556 there is no chance of the selection at this rank level . In recent time period the merit counselling level reaches 850 rank . But in your case the rank will be 2556 Sorry to say but NO CHANCE.

College take the fees of management seat as donation for its development, and in return it gives you an opportunity to study in the college, but you need to give the regular fees too.

SInce, VIT Vellore is a very prestigious institution with great placement records, so it may charge you around 3 Lakh to 5 Lakh depending on the branch you wish. The computer science branch seats are most demanding and hence, needs higher amount and are filled quickly.
