Is my caste certificate from Gujarat valid for deemed dental college in Maharashtra for neet ug 2021 MCC counselling?

maaztauquir24 31st Dec, 2021

Hi reader ,

The counselling conducted by MCC is for 15% AIQ . you can participate in it and can college in any of the states . Domicile is not an issue.

you caste must be in the central list released by the government of india in order to claim your seat through reservation.

Some of castes are there in the state list but not on the central list like mallicks in bihar so they can not apply using mallick certificate for AIQ counselling but for there state they can apply through reservations.

hope this answer helps. you can refer the following for more information

Mop-up & stray vacancy seats both are filled by MCC or States?

maaztauquir24 29th Dec, 2021

Hi reader,

From the session 2021-22 both MCC and the states will conduct Mop up and stray vacancy rounds .

Till last year , after the second round of all india counselling , MCC reverted back the seats which remained vacant to the respective states and to central institutes like AIIMS etc respectively.

States used to conduct the mop up and stray vacancy rounds in their states.

with the historic decision of supreme court on 16th december 2021 now MCC itself will conduct 4 rounds of counselling i.e. 1st,2nd,mopup,stray for all the seats under 15% AIQ quota and states will conduct the four round of counselling for the remaining 85% seats in their state.

for more information regarding the above , you can refer

What are the steps of Delhi State medical counseling. Will it happen after the first round of All India Counseling on MCC. On which site will the counseling take place. Can you please tell the answer.

pdwords Student Expert 29th Jan, 2022

Hello,

MCC is the conducting authority for Delhi NEET counselling, the round one registration is already over, in fact provisional result list too is declared today, this is to be followed by allotment result and reporting to college which will start from 30th January, and the last date will be 4th February,

now the commencement of registration for the second round is to start from 9th February, now coming to your question the registration process for DU NEET counselling is quite simple, you have to visit the official website at https://mcc.nic.in/Counseling/Report/Instructions.aspx, and provide your your NEET UG roll number/personal/qualifications and other such important details, further you will have to create password, and submit the same, after the completion of registration the password will be sent to the registered email-id, thereafter you have to login with NEET roll number and password, when the counselling process starts you will have to do choice locking, there is no restrictions for filling in number of colleges, in case you fail to do so, the system will automatically lock it, so you must do the needful before the due date, further seat allotment process will be done based on choices filled, NEET rank, seat matrix, reservation etc, the results will be announced in pdf format, after allotment of college candidates need to visit FMSc, DU for the completion of registration process and document verification, you are also required to do registration regarding this( that is registration with FMSc), and then only report to the designated college for joining, visit our page at https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/du-mbbs-counselling to know more details regarding this,

Coming to AIQ, MCC is the conducting authority regarding this, the registration for the first round, payment, choice etc is extended till tomorrow that is 30th January, you can explore more detailed information regarding this by visiting our page at https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-counselling

I am born in gujarat and have documents (I.e. ssc and hsc marksheet) from gujarat but my sebc certi is from bihar and if I register myself in neet ug mcc.nic all india quota counselling will I get the benefit of sebc

Anurag Khanna 25th Jan, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

See SEBC reservation is not the central reservation category but in some state this reservation is provided so it will not be of any use in AIQ counselling until and unless you category also lies under central list of reservation available on the official website of NCBC as given below :-

http://ncbc.nic.in/User_Panel/CentralListStateView.aspx

If your category lies under the central list of reservation then you should also have the certificate for same then only you can get reservation benefits in AIQ counselling otherwise you will be considered as General category.

As per the schedule released by MCC, AIQ Counselling will be conducted in 4 rounds as per the schedule given below :-

if i deposited the security money for the mcc couselling of deemed University and if i get a seat in state couselling ..will i get the security amount back if i dont want to take admission in the deemed university?how should be the procedure

Suchana Datta 15th Dec, 2021

Hi,

The refundable security deposit will be refunded only to the account from where the security deposit was initially deposited. The candidates are advised to not to use unrelated card/bank accounts for remitting security deposit. MCC will not entertain such requests.

Refunds have been sent to the same account from where the security deposit was remitted to MCC. 2) The refund will be credited to the candidate's account between 1 to 15 days depending upon the level of automation in the candidate's bank.

In case, candidate is not allotted any seat in all rounds of counselling including stray vacancy round, the fee will be refunded in the account provided by the candidate at the time of registration. Security fee will be refunded only after the completion of counselling.

Hope this helps

Wish you luck

my all india rank neet is 253011 and category SC rank is 22907 during mcc counselling which rank is considered

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 21st Jan, 2022

Hi

Your all India rank is considered in Neet counselling and not category rank .

But the important thing to note down is that although, all India rank is considered for all the categories ,the reservation is still there for reserved categories i.e EWS, OBC, SC, ST , pwd

NEET  Reservation system is given below:-

Category               Reservation

EWS                         10%

OBC NCL                27%

SC                          7.5%

ST                         15%

PwD          5% horizontal reservation

It is difficult to make prediction as cut off keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like

------------) number of students that appeared in the neet exam,

------------) kind of marks obtained by them ,

------------)  toughness level of the neet examination

------------)  number of seats available

------------) the category you are from etc

Anyway,

when we go through previous year trends

>>>>>> With your mentioned all india rank,

You have low chances for mbbs in government colleges

But yes,

You have  chances in deemed universities for mbbs which are listed below  :-

-----------) Sri Siddhartha Medical College DU, T Begur

----------) BVDU Medical College and Hospital, Sangli

----------) Saveetha Medical College, Chennai

----------) Dr. DYP Edu. Soc. Deemed Uni., Kolhapur

----------) Vinayaka Missions Medical College and Hospital, Karaikal

----------) Krishna Institute of  Medical Sc., Karad

----------) JLN Medical College, Datta Meghe, Wardha

----------) Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and RI, Puducherry

And  a few more

This has been  predicted on the basis of previous years data  but  cutoff keeps changing so to have clear picture of the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

With the help of predicted colleges you can make better choice while filling your choices of colleges during your counselling

To help in your counselling, we have mbbs companion in which in addition to college predictor tool you also get information regarding various counselling i. e all india , deemed, central and state  counselling and you get to attend live webinars with experts to guide you and get all your doubts cleared.
