The Madras Christian college was established in 2005. It offers several courses in arts, commerce and science. The yearly fees for BA journalism in MCC is 35000.
However, there are several eligibilty criteria
1. Student should below 21 years of age
2. Should have passed tamil nadu higher secondary examination
3. If students belong to other board then they need to acquire a certificate from University of Madras.

MCC college do have a forensic department.In fact it is among the very few colleges in tamilnadu that offers pg seats in forensic science.So yes MCC colleges does offer seats in forensic science.It is one of the best colleges in Tamil Nadu with good infrastructure and faculties.

50% marks or grade is needed to be maintained in order to be eligible for admission in MCC Chennai,MCA.Admission is through counselling based on the rank obtained in Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET).The total seats provided by this college are 30 for this stream.

To get admission in Madras Christian College you need to fill an application form online which will be available on the official wesbsite www.mcc.edu.in soon. There will be an application fee for each program. Then, according to your 12th class marks you will get a call letter by the Head of Department (HOD) of that programme and you will be called for an interview. If all goes well, then you will get a seat in the college.

You can absolutely apply into Madras Christian College through your TANCET Score. TANCET Score is mandatory to take admission in this college. Now, there are many categories under which Institutions offers Admission, have a look-
1. OC- Other Category or General (No special Quota)
2. BC- Backward Class
3. MBC- Most Backward Castes
4. SC- Schedule Caste
5. ST- Schedule Tribes

Now here's the seat allotment According to the category-
1. OC or General- 31 percent
2. Backward Class- 26.50 percent
