i applied for mci eligiblity certificate on 2018 but i didnt receive the eligiblity certificate .i mailed and called the eligiblity section but didnt receive any reply .i even given a complaint in the new delhi nmc office but didnt receive any positive reply what should i do next?

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 31st Jan, 2021
Hello,

MCI recently announced regarding issuance of Eligibility Certificate to students who wish to study MBBS in abroad from 2018 onwards:

The Medical Council of India (MCI) has come out with a new notice making amendments in the Screening Test Regulations, 2002 and also in Eligibility Requirement for taking admission in an undergraduate medical course in a Foreign Medical Institution Regulation, 2002. It says that if a student is eligible as per clause 4 in the Graduate Medical Education Regulation, 1997 and that student clears NEET for admission in any college/university abroad on or after 1st June 2018, then that student does not have to apply for an eligibility certificate and the NEET result shall serve the purpose of the Eligibility Certificate.
Hence , from now, the NEET score of a candidate will serve as the Eligibility Certificate. The student must qualify NEET to be eligible for MBBS in abroad.

I hope this helps.

is mha from prasana school manipal University recognised by mci or not

theeanonymous 13th Feb, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Currently, the Medical Council of India (MCI) and Indian Nursing Council (INC) regulate only those courses that are offered through medical and nursing schools . Only medical courses will come under MCI. But MHA from a medical college might be MVI recognized ,so you may check it up. For example, MHA program in AIIMS institute is MCI approved. Masters in Hospital Administration is generally a masters program in the healthcare sector and  not a medical degree so in other regular universities it will come under the UGC (University Grants Commission).

I have paid security deposit Rs. 10000 under mci medical admission 2020. I have got admission in 2nd round at aiims rajkot. The fee for 2020-2021 for aiims I have paid at aiims separately. when will be the notice displayed for refund of Rs. 10000. Or is it already declared ?

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 13th Feb, 2021

Hello,

As per the guidelines of NEET 2021 counselling, the security amount of 10,000 INR will be adjusted with the first year fee of the college/program, if candidate has alloted and joined the seat. So, as you said that you have joined the seat then your security amount is adjusted with the first year fee which you have paid.

Hope it helps to clear your dilemma, thankyou!

maine satra 2019-20 main regular student ke roop main 92% se PCM se 12th ki. Ab NIOS se additional subject se Biology pass kar NEET deba chahta hoon. NEET clear hone ke bad MBBS padthe hue ya MBBS karne ke baad MCI Registration main kabhi koi bhi kaisi bhi dikkat ya pareshani to nahi hogi.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 5th Dec, 2020

You cannot take Biology alone as an additional subject. You should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology but Biology should have been an additional subject. You might have to study Physics, Chemistry and Biology again from NIOS and not just Biology alone according to the rules. Because to be eligible for NEET, you should have completed your 12th, passed in all subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now if you belong to OBC Category, the Category you belong to should be also listed in the Central OBC list. Or else you will be considered as General Category and so you have to secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. This 50% is inclusive of the Theory and Practical marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Biology collectively. You needn't score 50% in Physics, 50% in Chemistry and 50% in Biology separately. You need an aggregate of 50% or 40% depending on your Category as an aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And along with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, you should also have studied English as one of the core subjects in your 12th.

Pankhuri Kumari 8th Jan, 2021
Hii!
A candidate who has passed class 12th with NIOS or any recognised open University is considered eligible for all types of competitive and government exams in India. So, you don't need to worry. When you crack the NEET UG entrance exam, 2021 you'll be given equal consideration in the counseling as other candidates without any trouble.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!
