Hi there, it totally depends on your intererst. If you want to become a manager, then MBA should be your choice. If you want to get into accounts and othere field of commerce, then of course you should go for M Comm. Both the programs have scopes.

So generally spot admissions are done to fill the vacant seats by different colleges and universities according to the categories that they have available. Typically spot admission process happens really fast as by the time the vacant seats are filled the regular academic schedule is already in full flow. This creates certain restrictions on the college

- To fill the seats fast they only give just one chance to candidates that are applying

- If a candidate fails to appear for the spot admission on the required date he/she is immediately bypassed and the next person in line is allotted the seat

- If a candidate fails to submit required documents then also he/she is bypassed for the next in line

As you can see, it is a hard and fast process that does not leave much room for candidates to take their time.

If you still want then you can try and contact the college authorities regarding your spot admission process and send someone else in your place (parents, etc) to submit the documents and compete the process, if the college is fine with it then you'll get admission easily.

YES you can get admission into Mumbai University in M. (//M.Com) Com.

The University also offers MCom of two-year duration from its Faculty of Commerce under two specialisation. Candidates are required to have merit in the last qualifying exam (UG-level) for selection.

The eligibility criteria is as follows:

• In order to secure admission in the M.Com course, the candidates must possess a B. Com/ (//B.Com/B.Com) B. Com(hons)  from any recognized university with at least 55% marks.

or

• Candidates should have a Bachelor of Arts in Economics (B.A. in Economics) with a minimum of 50% marks.

• Candidates who have a BBA, BBE, BBS, or BFIA degree can also apply for the M.Com course at Mumbai University, provided they have scored at least 60% marks in the qualifying examination.

I would like to tell you that there are a few institutes that provide the course M Com online such as Amity University, Jain university (JGI), IGNOU etc. Every university has a different criteria and fee structure for their course and you can enrol for the program online.

M.Com is a two year full/part time postgraduate level degree programme offered by Harsahai pg college, Kanpur. This is a private , affiliated college with an accreditation of B from NAAC. total number of seats is 120 for M.Com. the mode of admission is through merit screening based on marks obtained by candidates in graduation. The fees for this programme is around 4,000 INR Per annum.

KTHM College offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Commerce, Science and Arts.  The fees structure for M.com course here is much less than other private universities. The fees per year is around 20,000. This can be considered as only tution fees. Some other fees like exam fees etc would be included with this.
