Mechanics
even though it is recommended that first you should understand the concept and then go to solve the problems but for mechanics I would suggest you to directly go to the problems if you are unable to understand the concept because the problems are very well explained and you can visualise what is happening and then you can see the solution if by seeing the solution if you are able to understand the concept then it is good because initially if you can understand the concept by seeing the solution then it is fine I don't think that it is a good habit but don't make it habit of once you are able to understand the concept then you should read whole theory and then go to problems of higher level.
Dear Hidayath
Please ask the question much more properly so that we can easily answer
Best of luck
There is no shortcut to solve any problems if you understand the problem properly and apply the concepts you learnt then problem is very easy to solve don't go for tricks and shortcuts their temporar and and can provide you a temporary success may be in Engineering entrance exam for medical entrance exam but what is more important is concept not the tricks or not your ability to solve the problem if you are able to solve your problems but understanding the concept then they will help you to solve many more problem but if you try to use some shortcuts then then maybe applied to few problems but not for all and trust me the people who prepare entrance exam papers they know everything and they also take care that people who are aware of the concept should be able to solve the problem not the ones who can apply short cut or tricks.

Dear aspirant,
To score 60+ in physics you need to have gone through all the chapters of physics and you also need to have in depth knowledge. Honestly, it is very difficult to get without mechanics as mechanics holds the major part of the physics and you need to study that.

All the best.
Thankyou.

Hello Mahesh
Based on previous year cutoff trend the lowest marks admitted in Mechanical was 127. Your marks are below it, therefore, it is tough for you to get admission in Mechanical. To check cutoff please visit https://kjsce.somaiya.edu/media/pdf/CUT%20off%20marks%20of%20FE,%20DSE%20%202016-17.pdf
